MANILA - Fans of "Laida" and "Miggy" in the US, Canada and the Middle East will have the opportunity to watch the much talked about movie trilogy "It Takes A Man and a Woman".

TFC@theMovies will bring ABS-CBN Star Cinema's movie, the last part of the blockbuster romantic comedy trilogy starring John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, to 32 theaters in the US, and 11 theaters each in Canada and the Middle East.

The movie follows the story of of lovebirds Miggy Montenegro (Cruz) and his former assistant Laida Magtalas (Geronimo). After enjoying a few years of the syrupy sweetness and joy of love even when in a long distance relationship, the couple breaks up. Miggy continues to rise as a top young businessman while Laida gets an opportunity to work as an executive for a big magazine in the US. At Miggy’s brother’s compelling request, Laida flies back to the Philippines to work with Miggy. She remains single, but Miggy has moved on with a new girlfriend (Isabelle Daza).

Most of the theaters now have English subtitles.

It Takes A Man and A Woman opens today in US and Canada and on April 18 in the Middle East.

    this is where i watched.... there are 10 screenings in a day....1st day record-breaking ang crowds and lines... there were pictures from the columnist Bradford Adkins... i have to search and find so i can share here.
    2nd and 3rd day ganun pa rin... jampacked ang loob ng moviehouse... yesterday was the 6th day of screening on a Wednesday; its very unusual to see the moviehouse with so much people on a weekday... of all the movies shown ITAMAAW lang ang sobrang crowded.

    i also talked to tita Bhaby who watched at Tanforan, San Bruno, ganun din... grabe hindi matapos-tapos ang pila ng mga tao...

    another Popster i talked to she watched at Union City and just the same... hindi alam kung saan nanggagaling ang mga taong pumipila...

    i am just so proud of bebe Sarah... she's sooo goood in this movie. she righfully deserves an acting award.

    Check this out! Almost all International screenings extended for another week at may idinagdag na theather.....
    dito sa TOS one week lang palabas ang mga Pinoy movies pero itong ITAMAAW grabe - i think You Changed my Life also had the same trend - extended then may added theaters.. wow!..

    it is so overwhelming! after the very successful international screening of ITAMAAW, 32 theaters in the US and Canda extended the movie thru April 25 and due to high demand from moviegoers another extension is set until may 02 in 28 theaters...
