Sarah Geronimo is one of the most well put-together young celebrities. This is not a girl who'd wear a ratty T-shirt, faded jeans and flip flops in public. Sarah would never be spotted with unkempt hair and nails. She is always perfectly groomed and dressed appropriately for her age and the occasion.

"I have become more conscious about my appearance," Sarah admits. "I really make an effort to look presentable. I owe it to myself and my fans."

But her fans, who love Sarah for her simplicity, need not fear that Sarah has turned into a girl who's more concerned about vanity than the things that really matter. Her beauty regimen remains simple (just powder and lip gloss when she's not working). She hasn't turned into a shopaholic yet.

"I am a practical and thrifty person," she reveals during the media event where her new commercial for Jollibee Chickenjoy was launched.

More than anything or anyone else, Sarah loves her family and treasures moments spent with them. One of the best vacations in Sarah's life is one spent with her mother Divine in Paris where the singer's Ate Shine is training to be a pastry chef.

"I loved it there," says Sarah, who had "touristy" pictures taken in front of the Eiffel Tower and other Paris landmarks.

Sarah also loves spending time with her fans, who are collectively known as the Popsters. She even showed members of the press photos of gifts from the Popsters. The gifts include flowers, stuffed toys and food. If you want to know what Sarah's favorite gift from her fans is, it's food.

"My fondest memories with the Pospsters are our get-togethers during specials occasions like my birthday and during the holidays.

One of my resolutions this year is to make more time in my schedule for these get-togethers. We don't need a special occasion to meet up," she narrates in Filipino.

Of course, Sarah also treasures singing and perfoming and considers her concert tour with Martin Nievera one of the best things that happened to her in 2011.

Sarah is particlarly excited about her new commercial for Jollibee. She has done over 10 commercials for the food brand but this is her first for Chickenjoy.

"I love Chickenjoy. I've loved it since I was a child," says Sarah.

Jollibee has announced that from P73, the one-piece Chickenjoy solo meal is not only P69. The price of Chickenjoy value meal with regular drink has also been made ven more affordable from P89 to P79.

"We're implementing a price rollback as a way of giving back to our loyal customers for their continued patronage of the all-time favorite Chickenjoy. And we are delighted to have Sarah geronimo personally break the good news to all our guests," says Albert Cuadrante, Jollibee vice president for marketing.

"Jollibee is a part of our lives and Chickenjoy is an iconic Jollibee product," says Kaye Segismundo, Jollibee brand manager.

Sarah Geronimo remains mum about the 'real score' between her and Gerald Anderson

MANILA, Philippines – Pop star Sarah Geronimo insisted that there’s no truth to the claim that her leading man and rumored boyfriend Gerald Anderson waited for her inside her “ASAP Rocks” dressing room last Sunday.

Apparently, the report came from an unnamed source who also said that Sarah’s mother, Divine, has allegedly been rooting for the two to become closer.

Gerald likewise denied this, saying that he hardly sees the singer these days but that they keep communication lines open through SMS.

Now this, among other things, has been causing some people to speculate that the two have been hiding a romantic relationship from the public.

The body of proof
During a media huddle in an event a couple of weeks ago, Sarah, with much hesitation, revealed that her leading man gave her a necklace. She added that Gerald also gave her parents a gift.

It is also being speculated that Sarah’s suitor Miguel Villafuerte, son of Camarines Sur Gov. Elrey Villafuerte, has allegedly already stopped pursuing the pop princess. The news about Miguel’s interest for Sarah was first reported early last year.

More recently, another proof of the couple’s rumored relationship had surfaced in the form of a joke made by John Lloyd Cruz, Sarah’s previous leading man, on “ASAP Rocks.”

John Lloyd was seen telling Sarah in jest in the show’s Jan. 29 episode, “’Baby, baby’ ka diyan. Eh meron ka’ng… GE GE. GE GE, Gege,” possibly in reference to the first two letters of the name of the singer’s rumored boyfriend.

Nagkaroon ng bagong segments sa bagong format ng"The Buzz", na nagdiriwang ng kanilang ika-13 taon at isa dito ay ang “Buzz ng Bayan” na survey hinggil sa isang kontrobersyal na isyu kung saan makakaboto ang mga manonood.

At para sa pinakauna nilang survey, itinanong ng "The Buzz "kung naniniwala ba ang mga tao na may relasyon na sina Sarah Geronimo at Gerald Anderson. Sinabi sa report ng "The Buzz" kahapon na isang reliable source ang nagsabi na diumano’y nakitang binantayan pa ni Gerald ang dressing room ni Sarah noong nakaraang linggo sa "ASAP". Isa pa sa mga pruweba ay dahil tumigil na raw sa panliligaw kay Sarah si Miguel Villafuerte na noong nakaraang taon ay nagpadala pa ng cake sa bahay nina Sarah.

Itinanggi naman ni Sarah ang balitang binabantayan siya ni Gerald sa labas ng kanyang dressing room. “Once"lang po ‘yun, nung" Christmas "po, nung inabot niya ‘yung" Christmas gift "n’ya",” ani Sarah.

Bilang paglilinaw, sinabi rin ni Gerald na hindi raw sila lumalabas ni Sarah. “"Halos hindi kami nagkikita, parang"once "lang kami nagkita, nung isang araw lang."” Gayunpaman, patuloy naman daw ang pagti-text nila at nagkukumustahan.

Hindi itinatanggi ni Gerald na espesyal daw talaga para sa kanya ang Pop Star Princess. Dagdag pa niya, binigyan din siya ng regalo ng ama ni Sarah pero ayaw niyang sabihin kung ano ito. Ginawa pa daw ang regalong ito mismo ng daddy ni Sarah. “"Sobrang bait nila" and I’m very honored "sobrang bait nila sa akin."”

Kung may pagkakataon daw, sinabi ni Gerald na willing siyang maka-date si Sarah sa darating na Valentine’s Day. “"Kung magkaroon ako ng "opportunity, "syempre bakit naman hindi? Tsaka" (kung) "hindi siya" busy.”

Pabor din si Sarah dito pero aniya, ang pagkakaalam niya ay may trabaho si Gerald on February 14. “"Pero titingnan natin kung libre po ako. At" (kung) "libre naman siya bakit hindi? Kung pwede."”

Nung matanong siya kung papayagan ba siya ng kanyang ina, sinabi ng actress-singer na umaasa siya na papayag ito pero tatanungin pa raw niya ito para sigurado.

Speaking of another leading lady, host Boy Abunda asked John Lloyd about his former “A Very Special Love” and “You Changed My Life” partner Sarah Geronimo.

On “ASAP Rocks” earlier, Sarah was fondly calling John Lloyd “Bebe ko,” her term of endearment for John Lloyd’s character in their films. According to John Lloyd, he and Sarah might do a third movie this year.

Sarah is now romantically being linked to her “Catch Me… I’m In Love” and “Won’t Last A Day Without You” leading man Gerald Anderson.

Singer-actress Sarah Geronimo was unaware of the rumor that comedian Vice Ganda had thumbed down her guest appearance on his ABS-CBN show “Gandang Gabi Vice,” where she was supposed to promote her latest movie.

“I’m clueless about what happened. I just know that I was scheduled to appear on the show. But I had been given very little time to promote the film … I assumed that there was a conflict in the schedule,” Sarah said. The film she referred to was Raz dela Torre’s rom-com “Won’t Last a Day Without You,” released in November last year.

Sarah insisted that she and Vice Ganda were fine. “There’s no rift between us—sana nga wala.” The two previously worked in the Wenn Deramas drama-comedy “Hating Kapatid,” released in July 2010.

Coincidentally, her coming TV show, “Sarah G. Live!”, which premieres on February 19, will replace Vice Ganda’s program.

She likened the musical variety show’s concept to that of Nora Aunor’s “Superstar,” and “The Sharon Cuneta Show.”

“The producers don’t want me to just sing; they want viewers to know more about me through the show,” Sarah said.

“Won’t Last a Day Without You,” her reunion movie with Gerald Anderson, reportedly made P87 million at the box office. Their first project together, “Catch Me, I’m In Love,” released in March 2011, made P120 million.

Her next movie for Star Cinema, with John Lloyd Cruz, starts shooting this month.

Advice

“I’m working hard for my future, and can’t see myself getting married until at least 28,” Sarah, 23, said during a recent media gathering for Jollibee’s “Always Affordelicious” Chickenjoy Meal, which she endorses. “I honestly don’t think I’m ready to entertain suitors.”

Valentine’s Day is a regular work day for her. “It’s not a day I look forward to,” she said. “My advice to single girls out there is: You don’t have to give your heart away just because it’s the day of hearts.”

One of the guests who dropped by the send-off party was Sarah Geronimo, who got to work with Sam in the series iDOL.

When asked to give her reaction about the heartthrob's trip to U.S., the Pop Star Princess told PEP:

"Siyempre, mixed emotions kami sa pagiging Hollywood star na ni Sam.

"Happy ako dahil alam natin na better yung kompanya, yung career dun. Hollywood yun, e.

"And nagbibigay siya ng pride and honor sa country natin. So, happy ako for that.

"Siyempre, nakakalungkot din dahil mami-miss natin siya.

Now that Richard Gutierrez is co-managed by Viva, many have been asking him about possible movie projects with his co-Viva artists. First artist that comes to mind is, Sarah Geronimo. Richard seems open to the possibility and, actually, it looks like he really wants this to push through.

Besides wanting to work with the Pop Star Princess, he's also willing to work on a movie (again) with Anne Curtis and KC Concepcion (who is now a Vvia artist).

Let's see what happens there...
