ay baket ako ang unang magrereport? haha.. wala lang hello po popsters...
ang ganda ng show.. sa san jose kasi me aberyang nangyari kaya di ako nakanood, pero dis time in chicago audience ako... woo sarap ng feeling mgsisigaw don!
friday na mismo kami ngkita kita, actually si sarah I saw her un na mismo sa Venue na when the show was about to start... Prayer, paglabas nia ng dressing room nakita niya ko, natouch ako parang super smile sha.. aww! lab u Sarah.... super wave nman ako... ayun kiss ke tita divine,, kamusta ng konti den pray na...
opening, I really love her opening.. yung sayawan portion! PANALO!!!! london london london! yes! go sarah... sobrang improvement na tlga ung sayaw niya, as in! may "landi" na ung moves niya.. iba ka! go go go!
another fav of mine is ung LISTEN.. waaaaaaaaahhhh! plakadong plakado niya ung song.. galeng!! nakakaasar lang ung audience dito patay... di mashado responsive pero ok din!
yung THE PRAYER din astig... woo un ung isa sa applauded number talaga, nakakakilabot!!! medyo ngarag pako kaya di ko maalala lahat pa...
anyways, kwento ko lang behind the scenes moment... nung after ng signing nandun kame sa may isang gilid ng venue sa likod, dun kame ngiintay for our ride... eh napagtripan nung iba sayawin ung opening ni sarah ahhahaa! as in ginagaya... dumating si sarah sabi ni tita divine sarah o tingnan mo.. natuwa si sarah.. tinuruan pa niya kame nung opening na london bridge.. panalo! hahahaha si mark, erik, raymond, me, ate princess.. lokohan lang, tas nagtuturo step by step sarah!
cute cute... miski after the show ang energy level ni sarah ang taas... natuwa lang ako don
ayun lang po muna... marami ako pix, kay anthony ko nalang isend

nakakatuwa naman yung behind the scenes encounter nyo! eh di mega sayaw naman kayong lahat?
si sarah parang hindi napapagod kahit tapos na ang show ah, minsan nga mas makulit pa ata sya after the show, than before it. di ba?

whew it's been a while since i posted here... had to register again ( my emailing the admin this weekend did not work i guess) anywhoo...
Last time I’ve watched Sarah perform live was prolly 2 years ago and as usual, she did not disappoint. I was able to persuade my mom to go with me as she also wanted to see/hear Erk . Erik did not disappoint too (and he’s cute in person ha!).Gosh, have been hoping and praying to see Sarah and Erik together in a concert and here they are at last.
Let me just forego the ‘sequence of events’ as am pretty sure y’all know na and concentrate on some new and not-so-new observations
Ø Arie Crown Theater , I think, is one of the best venues I’ve been so far primarily due to their sound system, really enhanced my enjoyment of Sarah and Erik’s vocal virtuosity.
Ø This Chicago crowd is the laziest, hands down, in giving an applause; even rarer with standing ovation (only noticed some did a standing O after Erik's medley and sarah's finale)
Ø knew Sarah can dance but this girl has been hiding some fancy footwork
Ø IMHO, Erik is Sarah’s male counterpart when it comes to gorgeous vocal quality, tone (and he’s witty to boot as well as cute)
Ø Love, love Sarah’s movietheme medley; unfortunately, (my opinion only) the audience were quite stingy with their applause maybe because they have heard 90% of their repertoire before.although you can commend sarah on her effort to make her concert ‘upbeat/danceable; still the numbers that brings gossebump-galore were her Celine-ish numbers. I sure wished the audience were more demonstrative with their appreciation (at least , after the concert, I overheard a lot saying they were impressed and feel “sulit” with the money they shelled- “Yan ang concert!”)
Ø Am surprised Kris Lawrence gave a decent performance (no offense meant to his fans; he seemed nice) just because he did Not butcher my favorite Brian McKnight’s song AND he can sing in decent tagalog. I just don’t get his get- up..green cap, jacket, pants AND shoes???.. Mark and and Raymond pretty much extended the show ; highlights for me were Sarah and Erik
Ø Erik was amazing .Grabe! just love the tone/timber of his voice. And he seemed a natural wit...was quick on his feet when 'bantering' with the audience (some heckled "Peaacchy"!!!). Have I mentioned he’s cute? And he almost stole the thunder from Sarah with that medley of his.
Ø Sarah and Erik should do a concert together.They seem to know how to blend instead of out-sing each other. Tingin ko, madaling umalalay si Erik and so is sarah.
Ø I know, I know... this is a Sarah site but I have been dreamming of seeing and hearing them together for quite a while now. Am just sooo glad they invited Erik. Have I mentioned he’s muy cute? And can sing to boot?
