siguro dapat nandito si super photographer mia and lana's dad a.k.a. MLD

wow nice kuya paul! pansin ko dami nang nahahakot na followers ang photography. indeed it can be expensive but given how our world nowadays wants to document every single moment, it's not surprising na marami na nagte-take up ng photography. we could have tutorials here! *pokes*

nahaks alamat! serious model ka pala ha? or pa-serious lang ba? ;)

wanna know the technical aspects of photography din eh. kasi ang pag-capture naman ng frame, depende sa artistic preference ng photographer, di ba? it's a question of how to adjust the settings sa camera to come up with the desired effect... for example, pano mo nagagawang crisp yung subject, pero blurred ang background? :D i love pics like that, pero di ko alam pano nagagawa yon deliberately.

alamat, fire away with the tutorials! :T

btw, yung EOS ba ang gamit mo dun sa sample pics mo? how do you do the "warm, and cold effects" ng pics? lighting, or a setting din?

^ hindi noh, bagong gising lang ako nyan.

anyways, tutorial?
technical?
pwede rin "how to compose" as in "composition" un ang pinagkakaabalahan ko ngaun.
kasi sabi ng isang photographer. "it's not the camera that takes the picture...it is you" or something to that effect.

1. exposure
2. aperture
3. shutter speed
4. ISO speed

yan lang muna. *wink*

I have an EOS350D too!.... got rid of the kit lens, I have the following lens;

1. 50mm 1.4F
2. 18-200mm
3. 24-70mm

loved them.... although the 350D is getting obsolete, trying to save money for the 40D...

its called Kiss digital in japan, and rebel XT in the US, 350D elsewhere.....galing ng shots mo alamat!...

as for your question sgp.... sharp on the subject and blurred background?.. its not really the camera, but on the lens, the wider the aperture F, which is the 1/F number the more blurry/softer the background gets.... normally if the aperture is wider, the lens would be more expensive... there's a lot of other technical mumbo jumbo in there, hehehe...

and warming and cooling the pics, you change the white balance of the camera (change to a sunny/shade setting it gives you warmth, change to flourescent setting, it becomes cool/cold)..... even point and shoot cameras would have that option.... best is to read up at some of the online photography stuff :)

nakow, kailangan ko pala munang magawa yung assignment from alamat bago ko ma-gets yung technical terms! i use a point-and-shoot cam, Canon SD700IS. di ko alam kung anong equivalent non sa Ixus eh, pero parang ganon ang itsura. :D

dunno how to override manual controls, but these pics are taken with Beach mode on SD700. taken at the Clearwater Beach here in FL.

save for my cousin, ganda na sana ng silhouette nung babae sa beach. hehe!

i was told the pics were "noisy"... dunno what that means though. hehe! i wonder if having manual controls could take away the "noise". is that the grainy look on the image?

*ooops, assignment, assignment* hehe!

:52sgThumb: gusto ko ung first pic
second pic...konting ayos pa... as per 'rules' (research: 'photography composition')

(nasa assignment mo: aperture or 'bokeh' You can use wikipedia)

sample ung pic mo. click to enlarge mo.
