Hello guys! Was lucky enough to watch this concert. It took 14 hours to get there and back but it was all worth it.

When we arrived, there were big banners all over town advertising the event. We saw at least 3 big streamers. At the venue, there was a huge "Welcome Sarah" banner at the entrance.

At 2:30pm, she had a mini presscon for Xtreme Magic Sing at a small shopping complex in town.

The concert stage was set up at the wide, wide shoreline of Darapidap beach. On a side note, the beach was fair at best....sand was gray and unkempt...but I digress. The staging guy said that Congressman Singson expected the place to be twice as packed as it was during a Bikini Open held at the same place a month back. It was a huge open area...at that time it was pretty hard to imagine it being packed with people.

It turns out that we didn't need to. Despite the rain at 6-ish pm that lasted until about 7:30, the place was visibly, unmistakably packed by 8pm. Like Edsa Dos! Lol! We couldn't get anywhere near the stage anymore by this time. We didn't reserve because we thought we would have time to get good seats to take pics and vids. We were so wrong. So, hello uniformed men...we made friends with the Ilocano military guards :p

The concert didn't start on time at 8pm because it had just rained and Sarah's entourage had to come from a hotel 15 minutes away. So, the local opening acts began to play at around 8:45 pm. Sarah's group arrived at around 9:15pm. When Mark got off the van, people at the back area were like, 'whoa, it's Mark'. But when Sarah got off, they got really excited, started screaming "Sarah!!!" and the guards had to work double time. Military and police were all over to escort them to the makeshift tents which would serve as their dressing rooms. The set-up was very basic but still cool, like a real road tour. It was all so fast, from arrival to intro number. She didn't stay long at the back.

Showtime. She was wearing the Please Don't Stop the Music outfit for the Get Ready/Deja Vu/Sa Iyo intro number. Of course the crowd was screaming when she entered. Then when she sang Sa Iyo, they screamed even more. They obviously love Sa Iyo :). They had the same reaction to the SGIM version of TLYM. Hooray for Popstar: a Dream Come True songs!!! People were like singing along :)

Exit Sarah, enter Mark. FMS: Somebody shouted, "Mark alalayan mo si Sarah, basa ang stage baka madulas!" Somebody also yelled, "bagay kayo!"

The crowd also loved Mark, especially the gays :p Plus, he's so funny. He always downplays his popularity, saying stuff like "Alis na nga ako, baka naiinip na kayo para kay Sarah"....which adds to his charm cos of the cute delivery, tampo/pajoke. He sang Kasalanan (solo), 2 other songs (shucks forgot what songs...check ko sa vids.) He made some girl go up the stage and slow dance with him. It was fun cos the girl played along, she even hugged Mark and wouldn't let go.

Sarah came back to sing BWN in a gold dress. Then she had a cute spiel about the word Bituin in her teleseryes. Then she had an adlib saying "Bumenta po ba ang joke ko? Kasi impromptu po yon." --- Loved it  Vid to follow. Kasi, pano ba magconvert ng AVI! Ayaw gumana ng super...grrr...

She also sang Ikaw (people loved it) and the jukebox/pop medley. At this time, they were having major problems with the sound system. They had to change her mic about 3 times. She left and Mark came back to sing I Need You. He had 3 "girls" (1 gay) come up the stage and there was some sort of contest between the 3 of them. Then Sarah came back for a duet with him. With You I'm Born Again.

Finale: The Prayer and FNE. She thanked the Lord and said she will always be thankful for the opportunities and blessings that were showered onto her. She also said someday when this is all over (stardom fades), she will always cherish these moments. She also said the Lord made the rain stop so that we could all be here tonight. Then people were clapping and cheering. Yay, touching ... Then, people were singing along with FNE. Nice effect.

Then it ended at around 12 midnight. People only started leaving right after she got off the stage.

She spent about 10 minutes at the back for a quick interview with the local press, then she was escorted outside by what seemed like a whole army of uniformed men. Then her entourage drove off. But not before she said to us, "Ingat kayo, malayo pa biyahe." :) Sarah, sulit na sulit ang buong biyahe namin para lang doon!

Good luck to me sa pagupload ng vids. Still can't figure out how to use SUPER converter.
