I don't know why but I 'felt' like crying when I read Sarah did well with this concert AND she sang Broken Vow solo! (may nagbabasa ba ng msg natin???)I was pretty apprehensive about her performances as we know lack of rest due to her hectic schedule could affect her singing; and we have heard how tired her voice was during her recent ASAP numbers. BUti na lang, malakas talaga ang baga ng batang toh!!!

i'm also eager to read 'reviews' from 'objective', un-biased' non-fans (meron kaya no'n) I wonder where they can be found lol

Gosh! I can't wait for september 26 Manli-libre pa ako (my friend, in-laws and another co-worker) just to recruit more Sarah and Mark fans!! LOL I really hope though that their concert producer will let them rest A LOT here in the US para naman maganda ang condition ng katawan nila during the show. hirap din ng may jetlag ah!! and these kids are still kids kahit na sabihing cash cow ng kanilang company

ang saya po ng the repeat... napaka energetic po ni Sarah... yung mga joke niya, nakakatuwa talaga... Nag story telling pa siya... about dun sa pasali sali sa mga contest sa barangay... Naalala pa niya yung isang contest sa isang barangay na sinalihan niya.. Sabi niya natalo lang daw siya kasi wala daw siyang costume... eh hindi naman daw sinabi sa kanila na kailangan ang costume kaya hindi siya nakapagpalit... 7000 pesos ang first price and 5000 ang runner up at siya ang nakakuha noon... Sabi niya 2000 lang naman daw ang agwat kaya ok lang daw sa kaniya... take note seryoso pa siya noong nagkukuwento siya, dalihan ba namn ng "yun lang".. yun tawanan at palakpakan na naman ang mga audience...

Buhay na buhay po talaga si Sarah... yung katabi ko nga po,, narinig ko.. sabi niya doon sa kasama niya "ay gusto ko na siya super galing pala talaga niya"...

and doon sa part na kinakanta na niya ang broken bow,, idadagdag ko lang.... nag salita pa siya ng intsik.. intsik intsikan nga lang pero ok ang accent niya... nag ala shan cai siya... ganun din ang nangyari palakpakan rin ang mga tao...


doon naman sa duet nila ni mark na ako ay maghihintay,, lumuhod pa po si Mark sa harapan ni Sarah.....

Ito lang muna po ang makukuwento ko....

I only got to watch the first NOTC. IT sounds like the Repeat was more lively and fun. :music

I can't wait to watch ASAP and The Buzz on Sunday. Siguro naman, bibigyan nila ng special feature dahil succesful nanaman ang concert.

BTW, was Araneta jam-packed again like the first time?

lol, it's good that she is having fun on stage. I think one aspect that makes Martin such a great performer is because he interacts so well with the audience. I'm glad Sarah is starting to do that. By makulit, do you guys mean that she was messing with the audience? She seems to have a great sense of humor so it must have been really funny.

ok i'll try to be a little 'unbiased'... but although i'm trying to be unbiased... what i'll be saying are based on my own tastes...

the 1st one had more attendances than the repeat... about +-700 more

the 1st medley was good but not that 'memorable' (we are the champions, we will rock you)

the first one to sing solo was rachelle.. she did 'naughty girl'... she can dance..but the song was a little forgettable...

then she did a sharon cuneta medley... the medley was almost acapella and it showed her great voice, twas a beautiful rendition, but it was a little void of emotions for my taste... (Note: if you think otherwise feel free to say so, but i stand by my words )... then Christian sang The way you look at me... he recieved a loud applause.. and after that Rachelle and Christian sang "We wanted it all"... Rachelle's voice commanded more attention than Xtian's.. it was very smooth.. her voice sounded pure..the song was memorable.. then Rachelle did "Don't cry out loud".. she can sing louder than sarah... but at the same time, make her voice sound the same even if it's birit or not...a lot of people had LSS with it..
then Raymond came out.. did Kailangan kita.. at the end of the song he was applauded.. but not for the obvious reasons ( the gays behind me wanted him to leave sooner so they clapped harder)...after that Mark did "How did you know", his rendition was full of emotions.. complete with wild hand movements.. it was a little memorable... then mark said.." sino pa nga ba ang ka duet ko?"... so sarah and mark did Ako'y maghihintay.. which for me was their best ako'y maghihintay duet yet... for those baste-sarah fanatics.. it was like a dream come true..
after that sarah put in some 'funny' moments.. then they sang "that jollibee song". and after that they did the novelty song medley... along with the entire cast...for me mark was the most memorable among them... especially in the "jumbo Hotdog" part..
then hero and sandara did their number.. i was grateful for them coz i was able to take a bathroom break.. after them.. Erik did his solos... first off was muling pagbigyan.. not that memorable... then he did "this love" (?, a maroon 5 song i think).. it was a good rendition + you'll notice that he'd really practiced the dance moves for this one...then he sang a Martin Nievera medley... it was also a little acapella-ic.. and he likes to put a break in between songs.. at the part when his voice soars... he puts a stop to it then follows it up with a slower rendition (sorry can't really describe it)...it was very good.. style wise
then eric and sarah did a disney songs medley (beauty and the beast, a whole new world, go the distance etc).. it didn't have an effect on me.. then sarah did her solos
sarah, from time to time would add her spiels..which added spice to the occasion..like a very big icing on an already delicious cake...her 1st song was "If Only".. it was a little forgettable and she had some problems with the very last part..she added some spiels.. then she did "If I ain't got you" by Alicia Keys... last time (NOTC1) i didn't appreciate this song that much but now i think it's terrific.. then she did Broken Vow, which was filled with spiels that made the audience laugh and laugh again... but her rendition was very very good... even with the spiels, this is the song that I liked the most... she had some problems with the high parts but the stanzas were rendered very beautifully..then she did a Celine Dion medley.. it was more Celine Dionish this time around.. it was a great medley but lacked the ooomph at the end (the 1st and last song was because you loved me, like it was her thank you song to the fans)...
then sarah and erik did an I believe I can Fly-Forever's not enough song..it was good at first but became a little muddy at the end..).. then they along with rachelle.. sang "Through the rain"-"This is the moment"-"To Love you More" ... in this exchange... rachelle had the more memorable part..she sang through the rain beautifully, while Sarah had problems.. a lot of problems..and erik lacked the wind to challenge rachelle..
Then they sang a medley (impossible dream and that sound of music song,"climb every mountain")... it was good but didn't have enough energy anymore.. then in their encore.. the six of them sang popular pop songs each... rachelle's rendition was clear..and good.. sarah's wasn't as clear but her beautiful tone made the song good too.. Mark and Raymond's were too low, didn't understand their words... erik and christian performed well too..If to rate the show vocal wise.. Rachelle was consistent in singing great songs while Erik was also consistent in his own style... sarah had the best moments but also had problems and she kinda covered her vocal problems with her consistently funny spiels...

Rachelle did better vocally in that concert but I was really entertained by Sarah...beautiful tone + a funny personality..

berto sn ka nga pla nakaupo dun...malapit ka ba sa stage...

sad me di ko npanood un 2 concert nila....

wer ka nga pla punta 2mrw...sarah or mark? hehe...
