SG New Forum Rules and Guidelines
The SarahGeronimo Forum is intended to provide a warm, friendly atmosphere for all the fans of Sarah around the world. In order to maintain order and a sense of community, all members should read and follow these conditions. By registering in the forum, members are affirming their willingness to comply with these terms. These rules and guidelines have been created to provide you with information about what you can expect here, what is expected of you, and to answer some questions you may have in your stay of the SG Online forum.
RULES OF CONDUCT
1.) Your usernames must not start with symbols or numbers.
Please don’t create a username with full of symbols, such as &é”#’{([-|è`\ç^à@)]°=+},?;.:/!§ù%îï%$¤£*µ. If you already did, please contact one of admins to get it change.
The only allowed symbol is the “underscore” ( _ ).
2.) No fake emails.
From time to time, the SG admins send emails to all the members in SG Forum about certain events or some important notices. In order for those emails to reach you, we need to have your valid email address. Example:
iam_joe@yahoo.com or elissimo567@hotmail.com
3.) Posting Signature:
a.) Signature graphics are permitted, but must follow certain guidelines:
[indent]no signature graphics containing inappropriate images such as sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically. [see no. 11][/indent]
[indent]Additional restrictions are as follows:[/indent]
* No more than one signature image may be used.
* Maximum height: 150 pixels
* Maximum width: 500 pixels
b.) Signature text is permitted as long as it doesn’t contain excessively obscene, sexual, or vulgar words, phrases.
Additional restrictions are:
* No more than 5 lines.
* Maximum Font Size : 12 pt
c.) If image and text combine:
* Text: no more than 2 lines.
* Image: Maximum height/ 100 pixels Maximum width/ 500 pixels
4.) Be respectful of others at all times.
The goal of these forums is to unite Sarah Geronimo fans around the world, a place for the REAL fans to discuss her career and life in a fun & non-hostile environment. We are not here to be hateful towards each other or other celebrities. Disagreeing with someone is one thing, but if you come here simply trying to pick fights (trolling), you will be warned, and if it continues you will be banned. If attacks get too personal — or cross the line legally — your post will be edited or deleted and you may be banned. All unsuiting or insulting posts will be deleted.
5.) Ranting is prohibited
A rant is a post which is long-winded, redundant and filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and bonds between Sarah’s fans, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.
6.) Personal attacks are prohibited.
Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts which are designed to personally berate or insult another. Text of this nature is not beneficial to the community spirit and will not be tolerated.
7.) Trolling is prohibited.
Trolling is the word used to describe a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting the members of the forum community. Posts of this nature are disruptive and do not convey a friendly attitude.
8.) No posting of personal information
Please respect the privacy of others. Do not give out information such as phone numbers and addresses. If you would like to give out your private information to others, use the private message or email.
9.) Private communication between the Administrator, Moderators of the forum and the forum members is not to be made public on these forums or by any other venue.
You are not permitted to publicize any private conversation (including private messages) received from any of the aforementioned.
10.) Warnings and bans are not to be discussed on the forum.
Such matters shall remain private between the Admins/Mods and the member. Questions or comments concerning warnings and bans will be conveyed through e-mail or private messaging. Likewise, discussions regarding moderator actions are not permitted on the forum. If you have questions regarding a post or thread, please contact one of the moderators.
11.) Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following:
The posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.
12.) Spamming, bumping and pyramid quoting are prohibited.
Spam is considered to be repetitive posting of the same topic or text or nonsensical posts that have no substance and are often designed to annoy other forum users. Bumping posts in order to keep them near the top of the list is also prohibited (posting only smilies or emoticons is included). Petitions or "/signed" posts are a version of bumping and likewise are not permitted. Pyramid quoting is a response to a forum thread which contains the quotes of four or more previous posters, sometimes with additional spaces added unnecessarily. Posts of this nature are not conducive to community spirit and are unwelcome.
13.) Stick to the subject.
Stick to the subject. Posts that go off topic will be moved or deleted.
14.) No sticky caps.
Please avoid typing like this “h3LLo Drr, My nAm3 Is Jo3 fR0m d PlAn3t mArS!” . Some may find it cute, but to most people it’s very annoying to read.
15.) Redundant threads will be deleted.
As a courtesy to others before beginning a new thread, please look to see if an active thread on that topic has already been established. If so, place your comments there instead. Multiple threads on the same subject clutter up the forum needlessly and many good ideas may be lost. Keep discussions about one topic to one thread only.
16.) Impersonating another forum user, admins, moderators, or Sarah is prohibited.
You are expressly forbidden from impersonating anyone else, including those named above. This may be grounds for permanent loss of your account.
17.) You may not post advertisements.
Advertisements relating to Sarah should not relate to this rule. Do not post unwanted and unsolicited ads with purpose to make profits from a community. Unauthorized advertisement will be deleted and poster will be banned.
18.) Avoid using profanity.
Using partial masking (such as asterisks or punctuation marks) to bypass the profanity filter is prohibited and will result in the same action as if the actual word had been typed.
19.) Post constructively.
Negative feedback can be very useful, provided that it is presented in a civil, factual manner. Tell us what you don't like and why and how you feel it could be improved. Posts that are insulting and rude may be deleted, no matter how valid the ideas behind them may be.
20.) Disputes which cannot be resolved between forum users and moderators may be arbitrated by the forum administrators.
To discuss problems or concerns, please send an e-mail to one of the moderators.
A post that breaks a rule may be edited or deleted. Posters who consistently break the rules and not follow the guidelines will be warned and may be subject to bans.

Sana kung mag-off topic posting ako yung dini-discuss ko sa career ni Sarah G (kahit factual lang nang kaunti) sa thread na Chitchat/Off Topic, tanggapin na lang ang inialok kong opinyon. Is that ok?
