"For one, I don't let success, vanity, and fame enter into my head and system. I admit it's really very tempting, what with mostly all your colleagues being all dolled up and beautiful, tugging along designer clothes and branded goods and with matching boyfriends to boot! The peer pressure is really there. Yet I don't let all that superficial stuff overcome me," she good-naturedly reveals.
This is the reason why you will last long in this industry ate Sarah. Your talents will take you far, but your humility and life principles will take you farther.
When asked to best describe herself via a song, Sarah serenades this writer with a line from a George Benson classic, devoid of the celluloid fanfare and sans the killing lights:
"And if by chance that special place that you've been dreaming of, leads you to a lonely place, find your strength in love," she concludes with an angelic note.
OMG.. I was just listening to this song, "Greatest Love of All," just yesterday. Awww.. that's so sad and inspiring at the same time. Indeed, it can be quite lonely when you're already up there even though she has dreamed of getting there all her life. Sabi nga ni Laida, "Number one, number one! Hanggang maging lonely one ka na lang" (or something like that). But it's a great thing that she has people (her family, Viva, co-champions & ASAP artists) who will never leave her and siempre... Rest assured, Sarah, your millions of fans will always be with your no matter what! Hindi ka magiging magisa!
thanks for sharing! GANDA nya!
