Sarah Geronimo starts touring the Phils on June 12

Sarah Geronimo is back in the Philippines after conducting her two-month U.S. concert tour. Dubbed as The Next One, the Pop Princess performed with Mark Bautista, Billy Crawford and Jimmy Marquez. Nagpahinga lamang siya ng ilang araw at pagkatapos ay humarap na siya sa mga entertainment press para i-promote ang bago niyang DVD ng The Next One live concert niya na ginanap sa Araneta Coliseum last November 2008.

According to the press release for the DVD, "Sarah Geronimo has successfully carved her distinct mark in the Philippine music industry. Her name has become synonymous to multi-awarded albums, top-rating TV shows, box-office films and countless recognitions.


"Sarah has impressed not only fellow Filipinos but also her fans abroad with her versatility, vocal prowess and graceful grooves. This is attested by the numerous sold-out local and international shows and concerts she's had over the years. And her most recent local concert to date, The Next One, was a sweeping success as Sarah once again showcased her total performer that she is.


"And because of insistent public clamor, The Next One concert experience can now be brought home on original quality DVD. Memorable moments like Sarah playing the piano on the opening number, Sarah singing a duet with Backstreet Boys member Howie Dorough via video, and many more, can be reminisced over and over again anytime, anywhere.


"The DVD also features portions of special guests sharing the limelight with Sarah. Fans can see her perform with Simon Wood, the new recording artist of Viva Records, at De La Salle Centrum in Lipa, Batangas; June 20 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga; June 26 at the CSI Stadia in Dagupan City; July 3 at the Limketkai Atrium in Cagayan de Oro City; July 17 at St. La Salle Coliseum in Bacolod City; July 31 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City; August 21 at the San Agustin Gym in Iloilo City; August 28 at the Tacloban City Convention Center and on September 20 at the Holy Cross Gym in Davao City.


The Sarah Geronimo: The Next One Philippine Tour 2009 is her way of thanking all her legions of fans for their unwavering support throughout her sensational career.
