Let's BEGIN...

COMPATIBLE WITH:

- ALL JAVA / J2ME PLATFORMED PHONES-

- Nokia Phones
- SE phones / UIQ phones
- Motorola Phone
- Samsung (not all units)
- LG (May napagana na ako sa LGKS360 phones)

THINGS YOU MUST DO FIRST:

1. You need ACTIVATE YOUR INTERNET FEATURE OF YOUR SIM.
2. You must have atleast 1peso load and below 10pesos load, to be SURE NA HINDI KAYO MABABAWASAN NG LOAD!
Sa Globe ko naman kahit zero balance nakakapagsurf pa ako.
3. You need to configure the settings of your phone, proper settings which include settings up or requesting access point from your network.


THINGS YOU MUST NOT DO:

1. Use the application when you have load exceeding 10pesos.
2. Use the application when you're not sure if youre sim is internet activated.


HOW TO ACTIVATE YOUR INTERNET OF YOUR SIM

GLOBE

For a complete listing of compatible MMS & GPRS phone handsets — send NOKIA, ERICSSON or SAMSUNG (your handset model) to 2365.
To get your phone’s settings, text GO (handset model) to 2951. Example, GO N3650. (For a list of compatible handsets, refer to #1)

Note: For Nokia 6220, 6600, and 6820, text GO < handset model >,1234 and send to 2951. Make sure to type in the two commas before the 1234 PIN. Regular text messaging charges will apply.
Enter 1234 when asked for PIN to save settings.
Send an MMS message for only Php 5.00 to activate the service.

Note: For prepaid subscribers, please make sure you have credits first before trying to access GPRS/MMS.

SMART

OTA (over-the air) configuration

a) To activate GPRS *and* MMS
- SET MMS send to 211
- wait for the configuration to be downloaded to your phone (up to 24 hours)
- once downloaded, you will have SmartMMS data account, and SmartMMS WAP profile, and your MMS is configured already to use SmartMMS WAP profile
- you will also receive a confirmation message that your GPRS and MMS have been activated
To configure internet access (full access)
- SET INTERNET (handset model) send to 211
- wait for the configuration to be download to your phone, in minutes
- once downloaded, you will have SmartPC data account, and SmartPC WAP Profile
- edit this account to include DNS settings. DNS IP addresses are -202.057.096.003, 202. 057.096.004. you only need one.
c) To configure WAP via GPRS
- SET GPRS T68 send to 211
- wait for the configuration to be download to your phone, in minutes


PHONE SETTINGS

This Phone Settings are the Access Points that the Network had provided you, You just need to use 1 Access point on using the Application, use the SMART Internet / Myglobe Inet Access point , which has no proxy and no port, just the APN (Access Point Name)

Globe = http.globe.com.ph
Smart = internet

S40 USERS (Please check this Settings - Manual Configuration)

GLOBE

1. Go to Personal Config Settings.
2. Choose Option
3. Add New
4. Choose WEB as your application type.
5. Set this settings.
*Account name = any string you want. (kahit po ano)
*Homepage = http://wap.globe.com.ph
*User Name =
*Password =
*Use Pref. Access pt. = NO
*Access point settings
6. Set this settings under Access point settings
*Proxy = Disabled
*Proxy Address = none
*Proxy port = 0
*Data Bearer = Packet Data
*Bearer Settings
7. Set this settings under Bearer Settings
*Packet data access point = http.globe.com.ph
*Network type = IPv4
*Authentification type = normal
*Username =
*Password =
8. Now, Back to your personal Account Menu..
9. Choose again option, then "ACTIVATE" Activate nyo yong ginawa nyo sa taas..

Your almost done! Next step is creating access point settings.

Do this:

1. Go to your Personal Config Settings.
2. Under Personal Accounts Menu, choose OPTION.
3. Add New
4. Choose now "access point"
5. Set this settings under Access Point:
*Account name = any
*Access point Settings
**Data Bearer = Packet data
** Bearer Settings
6. Set this settings under Bearer Settings:
*Packet data acc. pt. = http.globe.com.ph
*Network type = IPv4
*Authentification type = normal
*Username =
*Password =
8. Now, Back to your personal Account Menu.
9. Choose again option, then "ACTIVATE" Activate nyo yong ginawa nyo sa taas.

SMART

GLOBE = http.globe.com.ph
SMART = internet


S60 Users (you can manually create this or just check the access point that the network gave you)
S60 include v1, v2, v3 and v5 phones (OS7,OS8,OS9 respectively...)

GLOBE

Connection Name: Myglobe inet (any name will do)
Access Point Name: http.globe.com.ph
Authentication: Normal

Press Options - Advance Settings

Proxy Server Address = none
Port number = 0 (zero)

Then save it!

SMART

Connection Name: Smart Internet (any name will do)
Access Point Name: internet
Authentication: Normal

Press Options - Advance Settings

Proxy Server Address = none
Port number = 0 (zero)

Then save it.

-Check also this settings-

* SETTINGS - CONNECTIONS - PACKET DATA - Then put on the Access Point Name

Globe = http.globe.com.ph
Smart = internet

[UPDATED] I have updated the server of the smart application.

EDIT: July 27, 2009

Since si SG.com has a new picture on opening the SG.com website.

I can change the picture on the browser above and use the picture on the welcome screen when opening the site.


I ACCEPT request. Just post the picture, icon you want to place, and ill do the rest.

and wala naman nagreply sa thread ko, so well i guess walang tumangkilik sa thread ko... HIndi ko na muna iuupdate si smart link unless may nagpost na hindi nila napagana...

...although this is a jar file, all ph0nes that are java or j2me platf0rmed will be able to install it.

nakakahawak pa lang ako symbian operating system. Pero i think with macint0sh os gagana din...pakitry na lang...

Okie.... your welcome po, post ka na lang po if gusto mo ng itry ang mga application na andito... If s60 ang phone mo mas madali ang gagawin mo, iaactivate mo lang ang internet feature ng sim mo, and youre ready to go.

Visit ka na lang po ulit kayo dito kapag nagkatime ka na po ate... Thanks....

S0rry for the inc0nvinience, sira nga ang h0tfilelinks ngay0n. And beside, need ko pang irem0dify ito c0z it has an old trick na hindi na gaana due to server update ng gl0be and smart.
