Anyone out there using Snow Leopard besides me? It's the latest and greatest operating system for Macs, dubbed OS X 10.6. All of the system's core processes now run 64-bit, but it has compatibility to run 32-bit programs as well. One major change is that only Intel-based Macs are supported; no more PowerPC support in this version.
Some things seem to be broken which relied on 32-bit procedures, but updates should be coming soon to fix those.
Oh, and I applaud Apple for selling the full version of Snow Leopard at only $29. Microsoft, are you watching? :p I'm not exactly eager to buy Windows 7 Ultimate at a $400 price point. (No, I'm not being an Apple fan boy either ;) )
