We want to keep the legacy of SG.com alive, we want the site to stay up and operational.
Then last September 27, 2009, Ondoy unleashed its fury and left hundreds dead, thousands homeless, and millions affected in the Philippines. www.SarahGeronimo.com was not prepared to answer our countrymen's call for help. If another calamity of this magnitude hits our country again, where do we run for help?
We would like to make a difference.

SG.com's "Donate" button/link can now be used to send donations for the following:
1. Dedicated Server Payment (DSP), and
2. Relief Operations Fund (ROF - for victims of calamities in the Philippines).
When using this link to send financial help, kindly specify the purpose of your donation.
You may also allocate a breakdown of the amount you are sending if you would like to donate to both.
DSP donations will be used to maintain the server where our forum and the homepage are hosted at.
ROF donations will be wired over to Pinas (it will vary, and will depend on the circumstances) and donations will be put in as from www.SarahGeronimo.com's Popsters.

Some tips and sample screen shots:
1. You can find the "Donate" link on the upper right hand corner of the Forums, or the "Donate" button on the upper right hand corner of the homepage under menu Site > About the Site (http://www.sarahgero.../about-the-site).
2. Click on the "Donate" link and supply the necessary information: the amount to donate, and the source of the funds (bank account, paypal account, credit or debit card, etc).
3. You will see the following before you confirm your donation.
Click on the text link shown as encircled on the pic below to bring up a Note box.
4. Add any message specifying the purpose of your donation. You may simply put in DSP or ROF.
- If the notes are empty, it will be assumed that the donation is for DSP.
- For ROF donations, you may specify which Relief Operation it is for.

5. Proceed with your donation normally after adding the note.
