Why don'e you guys get a shoutbox..it will be fun..and everyone can really talk about sarah live..xD..so yeah..
i know that IPB comes with an sbox :]

Pero i think it will flood fast, unless may flood control..
There will be 2 much messages sending at the same time..

well for ipb theres a flood control for the shoutbox

or you can get those upgraded shoutbox @ cbox.ws
doon u have 2 register to the cbox before a member can post a message, tapos it controls it's own flood..

I think shoutbox would be a great idea. And using a IPB shoutbox will be better than other shoutbox cos other unregistered will be able to chat and some haters can come here and you know might say somethings ( other forums have incountered this) if the forum has a dedicated server or VPS that won't be a problem when lots of people chat at the same time and that would be a great idea to interact with other sarah fans. and if the forum get downtime because of it maybe we could ask for donation :] just giving my 2 cent *V*

thanks for your suggestions and insights, guys! we will take note of them when there's a chance for expanding the forum's features.

one of the reasons (i believe) why a shoutbox is not included is the issue of moderating it.

as it is, we are a fast-growing community and moderating the thousands of threads on the forum itself is becoming a challenge to the staff already.
in the meantime, there's the chit-chat/off-topic threads for posting, and it could serve as a "chat thread". it can be sort of real-time, as you can see in some of the threads. in a way it is better because you can even quote someone's post.

anyways, keep the suggestions coming. we'd like to hear feedback from the community.
