Hey guys just finished watching NOTC SF. Before I get into my review, here are the songs that were sang.

1. Sarah, Eric, and Rachelle-"We will rock you," "We are the champions"
2. Rachelle-"Everytime"
3. Rachelle-"Sharon Cuneta Medley"
4. Christian-"The way you look at me."
5. Christian-"Hands in Heaven."
6. Christian and Rachelle-"We wanted it all"
7. Rachelle-"Don't cry out loud."
8. Mark-"How did you know."
9. Mark-"Gary Medley"
10. Sarah and Mark-"Akoy Maghihintay"
11. Sarah and the champions-"Novelty medley"
12. Eric-"Pagbigyan muli"
13. Eric-"This Love"
14. Eric-"Martin medley"
Now comes in the superstar
15. Sarah-"Regine medley" (super galing)
16. Sarah-"If I ain't got you" (better than the original)
17. Sarah and Mark-"Broken Vow" (great as usual)
18. Sarah-"Celine medley" (outstanding)
19. Sarah and Eric-"I believe I can fly" "Forever's Not enough" (Sarah did the song even higher than she usually does)
20. Sarah, Eric, and Rachelle-"Winning songs"
21. Sarah, Eric, and Rachelle-"The impossible dream"
22. Sarah and the champions-"Disco compilation"

Review:
Singing-Well, the champions were really good. Looked like the crowd was really enjoying them. However, I was really waiting for Sarah of course. Out of the champions, I felt Mark, Eric, and Rachelle all excelled and Christian was okay. Now to Sarah. Wow, she is something else when she is doing live concerts. Talagang superstar. Of course, she went last as the headliner should. First, she sang the Regine medley. Super ganda. She put her own style into it, which is good. Then, she sang "If I ain't got you" which like I said, I felt was better than the original. After that was the Celine medley which is always a showstopper. Grabing galing nya talaga. Tapos, she sang "Forever's not enough" with Eric. However high she usually sings it, she sang the song even higher. I have to applaud Sarah and Rachelle because they sang incredibly in cold weather and blowing wind. Atleast the guys got to wear jackets. Sarah sang all her songs at night and in gusting winds. Exposed pa yung back nya. I think this is why she ended up getting sick. I have no clue as to why they decided to do the entire show outside. Still, super high level yun performance nya. So, in terms of singing, galing nila especially Sarah.

Audio-The audio was very bad. When the champions were singing, their voices would often get overshadowed by the guitar. ABS-CBN did a poor job recording the singing parts. Also, when the girls would sing, their mikes would at times vibrate. It was very annoying to listen to the whole concert. Having said that, the singers were still able to pull it off.

Video-The video also wasn't spectacular. It's like they taped the whole thing on a handy cam. You can tell the difference of how much money they spent on this when you compare Piolo's concert to the NOTC concert.

Conclusion-Even with all the technical problems, it was still worth watching the whole thing because I got to see Sarah perform. Now, I am in even greater anticipation for their return next year because I know what to expect. By then, I know for sure Sarah will be even better. I can't wait.

WOW JB sobrang detailed talaga ang review mo ako eto ang opinion ko:

The show was great as expected. Rachelle's singing is great although there are times na natatabunan sya nung background music nya kasi mahina ang voice nya well I can't blame her kasi she's performing in an open area plus the fact na sobrang lamig dun sa venue. Christian was okay for me at least walang masyadong kakaiba pinakita si Christian. It's like kumanta sya at natpos lahat nang spots nya nang ganun na lang. I love yung duet nila ni Shin (siguro talagang gusto ko lang yung song). As for Eric he was great to. Minsan lang makikita mo na wala na syang voice but he was able to pull it off. Mark was as usual magaling talaga. Sobrang emotions ang mga kanta nya. Favorite ko rin yung duets nila ni Sarah sobrang sweet kasi nila nakakainlove and makikita mo rin yung care nya kay Sarah nung inoffer nya yung jacket nya, tapos niyakap nya si Sarah nung giniginaw na to, tapos sa last part nung tinatawag na sila isa isa dala nya yung showl ni Sarah at yung pinakalast nung mageexit na sila e kinuha niya yung tail nung gown ni Sarah para hndi matapakan at madapa yung prinsesa.

I'll save the last for the Princess.. Wala akong masabi sa performance ni Sarah just two words "absolutely phenomenal" Grabe lahat nang kantahin ni Sarah ang ganda nang labas. Despite the technical problems na carry pa rin nya. Breath taking lahat nang performances nya. Makikita mong ibinigay nya ang kanyang 120% sa concert. Kahit na sobrang lamig (well ilang beses nya rin inannounce na giniginaw sya at makikita mo rin na nanginginig sya sa lamig) e nakanta nya lahat nang songs nya na effortless. Grabe rin ang energy nitong batang to sobra ang energy nya pag nagpeperform sya kaya nga gustong gusto ko sya kasi makikita mo yung enthusiasm nya at ineenjoy nya yung performance nya. I can only say one thing to her keep up the good work.....

All in all maganda ang concert despite some technical problems. I think its better of they did the concert in a closed area para mas buo yung sounds at hndi pa nilalamig ang mga champions pero siguro masyadong maraming tao kaya hndi nila maaccommodate lahat.. Anyway Great Job guys.. Congrats...

The fans looked lyk they REALLY enjoyed!!

And yes! Sarah did sing "Forever's Not Enough" higher than usual,
pero maganda din! And! SUPER cold din! I can't believe they made
Sarah and Rachelle dress up lyk that! Hindi tama! It's not right...
Even my dad sed so (he's used to be a pro. singer)... It'll ruin their
voices! Especially since they sing super high!
I mean, the guys were lucky because they wore something warm!
Anyway! back to tha songs! Ang kyute talaga nila Mark atcha Sarah!
holding hands, Mark kissed Sarah! Whoo! Kilig moments!!
I think it was so adorable! And when Mark sang "How Did You Know?"
I thought that, THAT was so romantic too! (I love that song!)... I think that Mark should've sang the "Martin N. Medley" instead of Erik, cuz Mark's voice parang parehas kay Martin kase! Pero okey lng! I really enjoyed tha concert.. nakakatuwa yung concert! Sana nadoon ako.. or KAME! Wow! Sobrang GALING yung NOTC! Wow! So glad I taped it!

I totolly agree na ang audio was super bad!!! grabe....di ko masisisi kung minsan nawawala ang dalawang divas..kasi sa hina ng audio dahil open cpncert sya..ehhehe.....

pero all in all..magagaling silang lahat....

of course fave part ko eh yung kiligan moment ni sarah at mark..ehehheh...cute ha?? pati yung sister ko tumawag sa kin just to tell me how sweet they were..hahahah.....

di ko nahahabaan angpost ko...ok po....salamat...

WOW WOW WOW. sarah was amazing, like always. that celine dion medly was beautiful, honestly, shes such an amazing vocalist. hahahaha sarah can do the otso otso..she's coool. =) sarah is truly one talented person, she's even a great host. i loved it.

*i guess since i like sarah so much im kinda bias coz i found some of the other songs sung by the others were kinda boring...but still the champions are amazing vocalists no doubt.
*one thing i dont like about sarah is the way she dresses. wat was with the huge flowers on her shoulders and that weird vest she was wearing...=S if i could i would give sarah a few fasion tips.

but overall, NIGHT OF THE CHAMPIONS was an excellent concert. =)

I thought the one with the flowers was OKAY, not

it was so not ok...for me. i dunno...i mean shouldn't she be the most stylish since she is the youngest, i dunno. i dont like the way she dresses....*shrugs*

Same here.. I mean What are they thinkin making ker wear those ridiculous dresses.. Pero okay na naman yung style nya ngayon e siguro before talaga medyo hndi ko rin gusto yung mga damit nya pero after nilang magpunta dito ok na sya mukhang may napulot na fashion tips ang prinsesa natin... :thumbs
