If you wish to try a theme with a smaller banner, please go to the bottom left of any page on the forums, and find the drop down menu which currently says SG.com V3 and select SG Minimalist. The forums will reload and use a smaller banner instead. Let us know how that works out for you.

Can you clarify what you mean? The minimalist theme is exactly the same as the normal theme with exception of the smaller top forum banner. The Lo-Fi is meant for users who just want text or wish to browse the forums faster via mobile devices. We're letting you have a choice; use the theme you like.
