Wrap Me In Your Arms

There is a God who loves me
Who wraps me in His arms
And that is the place where I'm changed
And that's where I belong

[Chorus]
Take me to that place Lord
To that secret place where
I can be with You
You can make me like You
Wrap me in Your arms
Wrap me in Your arms
Wrap me in your arms

I love this song, as we listen to this,

Let us pray that Jesus will give us the desire to always look for Him and be just like Him.

People ask me why Ken, what is the secret? That is.

There is a God who loves me
Who wraps me in His arms
And that is the place where I'm changed
And that's where I belong

Last Sunday, I was praying kung anung gagawin ko, anung tama kong isipin, Because I really don’t know how to react or what to feel…I don’t know what to say to my friends rin saka pagpoposts kung panu ba dapat.

What I did was to change my thought life.

Instead of thinking otherwise, I chose to be happy and just praise the Lord. Parang di mo na nga alam…but that day,
It was a day of worship. What I did was praise the Lord, kahit nasaan circumstance pa ako.

It doesn’t matter if Im happy or sad, if im confused or what. I am God’s servant. I will praise Him.

What God has done for me. He turn a difficult situation and state of mind into something looking forward for more. My Jesus, thru songs, thru His words, thru His Spirit, He made me feel I was loved, I was changed, I was something more. Im reminded of what I do for Jesus, Im reminded of what I still can do. He wants to show you more.

Nung Bible Study, the lesson is about the devil, as our adversary, isang kaaway na hindi titigil hanggat hindi tayo bagsak na bagsak. It was a great reminder, na maging mapagbantay, lalo na sa mga bagay na pinagkatiwala sa atin ng Diyos. Ang sabi, don’t let him rob your testimony. If you do something for Jesus, ikaw ang number one nyang target. He will use ur weaknesses, he will condemn you. But amidst it all, there’s one thing for sure, Romans 8:1

Romans 8

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Whenever I kneel in the altar, I would always pray that may He always take me away lalo na kapag nalalayo na ako sa Kanya.

If we will just hold on to the Lord, there is danger, baka makabitaw tayo, so ask Him to hold you too. If Sya ang nakakapit sa atin, He will never let us go. Pray it sincerely, Lord, never let me go. Kasi, kung wala ang Panginoon, san na lang tayo pupulutin, there is safety in His presence.

It seems a conformation, the message of the Lord last Sunday, was to “step into your miracle”.

Tuwing time ng preaching, time naman un ng turo ko sa mga bata, ang galling nga po e,

My teaching is about “the miracles of Jesus.” God is making Himself known to us. How great and good He is. Na though this life is tough, He had overcome this world.

Nakaabot pa naman ako sa preaching, after ko magturo, nakinig me. Heheh mejo lagi tlg ako ngarag kapg Sundays..

The crossing of the Jordan River is reiterated. It was on their way to the promised land – Canaan, and there is a great body of water ahead of them. But the Lord said, the first time you step your barefoot on the water, titigil ang tubig sa pag-agos.

As the Ark of Covenant carriers step into the water, the water stood still. It was God’s miracle. The Ark during that time, is where the presence of the Lord is.
Then, nagstiwadan na ang mga Israelites across the Jordan River…like the Red Sea nung time ni Moises, but this time, Joshua led the Israelites.

After crossing, ang sabi ng Panginoon, mula sa gitna, kumuha ng mga bato,at ilagay sa pampang at gumawa ng monument to remind them sa miracle na ginawa ng Panginoon.

Lessons from the crossing of the Jordan River.

1. Everyone has their own Jordan River.

2. God wants us to always remember our “crossing” rather than our Jordan River.

The monument that God asked to build intends to represent His power over things and what He can do, He wants His children to always look at Him. That no matter how high the tide is, Jesus can let you cross over if You will just trust Him.

God wants us to remember our successes, our victories thru Him, the more mo itaas ang Panginoon, the more mo I feed ang sarili mo ng magagandang bagay na ginawa at ginagawa nya, the more ka nagkakaron ng reason para purihin Sya at itaas Sya sa buhay mo.

3. Step into your miracle.

Minsan, yun na lang talaga ang kulang. Alam mong maganda ang inilaan sayo ng Panginoon, but you’re not stepping into it!

God says step into the water! And you’ll see!

Step into your miracle. Step into your dreams, step into the things you hope for…let go of ur wants and trust in the Lord. THE BEST IS YET TO COME.

Wala pa tayo sa promised land! Let us move on to it! Move forward to and see what God really wants us to have and achieve! Be like Joshua. He wasn’t discouraged nor dismayed, because God told him not to. Joshua received the courage he needs from the Lord.

Joshua 1:9

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

___________________________________________________________
Let us always build a monument of praise unto Jesus, hindi sa mga circumstances ng ating buhay nakadepende kung pupurihin natin Sya o hindi… we cannot understand how great is this love He has for us, but if you know, you’re one of His chosen people, trade your sorrows for a life of praise and worship unto Him! Tama na ang pagtakbo palayo. Malapit na Syang bumalik.

Jesus loves you. Accept it and be with Him!

always choose to fill your thoughts and hearts with the words of the Lord. for it is only through sticking
and attaching yourself to the Vine, that we will bear fruits as sweet and wonderful as His.

think like Jesus. speak like Jesus. be like Him. be a witness unto Him by presenting yourself - holy and acceptable, a living sacrifice. :)

"We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."

— Romans 8:28 (NIV)

THE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE

The kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it— Matthew 13:45-46

Seeking Many, Found One

While this merchant was seeking many pearls, it is notable that he was led at last to one.

The crowning possession of his lifelong search was not a multitude of things, it was one thing.

With the treasure hid in the field it was not so; that treasure would consist of many things. Armlets and necklets and jewel-hilted swords would lie in the chest beside the hoard of coin. But in our parable the thought is different. It is not a string of pearls that is discovered; one pearl rewards the seeking of a lifetime, and one pearl gives perfect satisfaction.

In the Kingdom of our Lord we see what at once recalls to us both parables. No treasure hidden in any field can be more various than the Kingdom's riches. And yet the joy of the Kingdom is just this, that all its riches are treasured up in Christ, and that everything that the heart needs for satisfaction is to be found in Him and Him alone.

What are some of the things that a man needs if he is to have the secret of sweet peace?

He needs the pardon of his sins.

And he needs fellowship.

And he needs a love that will not let him go.

And he needs to be assured in his dark hours that there is some hidden meaning in the burden.

And he needs to learn that death is not the end, but that everything shall be perfected beyond.

At different times of life these needs arise. They vary in urgency with varying hours. We pass from the call of one need to another, as we pass from winter to the call of spring.

And the wonderful thing about Jesus Christ is this, that as these needs successively arise the man who looks to Him to have them satisfied never in any hour looks in vain.

In Him is all the pardon of our sin.

In Him is the strength made perfect in our weakness.

He is the way, the truth, the life, the resurrection, the Shepherd, the vine, the door, the hope of glory.

He is all we need and more than all we want. He is wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption. All that we need is treasured up in Christ, who is the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

And this is the reason why in Jesus Christ there is such satisfaction for the soul.

For we are never at rest until our life is unified, and till our many searchings become one.
There is no peace for the man whose life is broken; whose objects are many and whose aims are diverse. If he has to go hither and thither on his quest, he must ever lack the secret of stability.

It is only when life is harmonised and unified, and when one Lord can satisfy the soul, that in the busiest round there is a peace which the world cannot give and cannot take away.

That was one of the failures of old pagan-ism-men were distracted by their many gods.

That was one of the triumphs of the Jew—his life was one, because his God was one.

But in Christ the secret of the purest Jews has become the choicest treasure of the humble, for there is not a thing we set our hand to but we can do it heartily as to the Lord.

All seeking outside of Jesus Christ is the seeking here and there of goodly pearls. It is a noble search, but at its noblest it leaves a man unsatisfied and restless.

"Come unto me,…and I will give you rest." Art thou careful and troubled about many things?

One thing is needful. This one thing I do. There is one pearl. We are complete in Christ.

Other people would just say you're the best! So continue being the best, then I say, my friend, just give glory to Jesus. Because no one else can sustain you, satisfy you, cleanse you and bring you joy,but Him.

When too much fills your mind and you are saddened of what you have become today, just give glory to Jesus. Draw near to Him
so He will draw near to you. Abide in His words always.

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
John 15:7
