Global Pinoy meets the Pop Princess!

Whenever Global Pinoy multi-media artist Joyce Penas-Pilarsky is in London, she cooks for her brother and sister-in-law’s Filipino restaurant Port of Manila.



Last November, Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo did a one-night concert in London and dined at Port of Manila with 16 persons after the show. Owned and operated by Felix and Tess Penas, the restaurant is located on 129-131 B Brackenberyroad, Hammersmith, London W6 O B Q. As Sarah was nice and sweet, Penas-Pilarsky gifted her with a necklace she designed. Sarah returned the kind gesture by autographing an image which now proudly hangs in the restaurant.



Based in Germany, Penas-Pilarsky participated in the last Philippine Fashion Week held at the SM Mall of Asia as John Guarnes’ accessory designer. Her one-of-a-kind accessory design made of semi-precious stones received raves from the fashion-forward crowd. This October, Penas-pilarsky plans to debut as a fashion designer.
