During a recent press visit to the set of Idol, media noted that there seemed to be a mutual attraction between Sam Milby and Sarah Geronimo. But the dashing actor was quick to say that it’s too early to think of courting the Popstar Princess at this point in time. “Kilala ni’yo naman ako na I like to get to know a girl first. Ayoko yung may project kami tapos manliligaw ako. It’s not right naman. Pero siyempre kung may mararamdaman ako, of course why not? Pero like I said, kakaumpisa pa lang namin. Though kilig ako sa mga eksena namin,” said Sam, who was all praises for his Idol leading lady.
Sam even admitted that Sarah possesses all the qualities that he looks for in a potential girlfriend. “I do [find her sexy]. I find her very beautiful actually. She doesn’t know that though. She doesn’t find herself beautiful, but she is beautiful. And if you listen to her, gusto ko talaga yung laugh niya e. She's very innocent, pure talaga lahat [pati] yung puso niya. Kung may boyfriend na siya, alam mo na siya lang talaga [yung mamahalin ni Sarah]. You know what I mean? I’m sure kung sino man magiging boyfriend niya would never have to worry or have any doubts.”
Although he’s equally successful as an actor-singer, Sam couldn’t help but be impressed with Sarah’s accomplishments both in the concert scene and the movies. He also admires the fact that she’s the breadwinner of her family and a great role model to the youth as well. “I just know how grounded she is kahit na she's the biggest name in showbiz today. That’s what I really admire about her. She's so dedicated sa trabaho niya. Every time na nanood ako ng production numbers niya sa ASAP, ang galing talaga ni Sarah, sobra. Kaya siguro ako nahihiya sa kanya. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero siguro dahil I just really admire her. Magaling siya talaga,” he gushed.
Given all Sarah’s admirable qualities, the country’s Rockoustic Heartthrob claimed that he’s really lucky to be paired with her in Idol. “Kahit sinong lalaki, siyempre swerteng-swerte kapag nabigyan ng chance to have her as a leading lady. Nanood ako ng A Very Special Love dati and nagulat ako kasi magaling siya umarte. Tapos ngayon ‘pag magkasama kami sa eksena she's very, very good kaya I feel so blessed na makatrabaho siya. So it’s just nice knowing na kahit yung first couple of days palang ng taping, knowing that were not yet that close, but we can just laugh, ang sarap ng feeling.”
Watch out for the much-awaited musical drama, Idol, starring Sarah Geronimo, Sam Milby. and Coco Martin starting September 6 on ABS-CBN.

Sarah Geronimo decked in this season's metallic color of choice.
By Jacque De Borja Aug 31, 2010

At 22, Sarah Geronimo has accomplished a lot of things—from international concerts, numerous music albums (with awards, to boot!), endorsements, to even the Philippines' highest-grossing movie ever under her belt. And now, a musical TV show, Idol, which will begin showing this month of September. Sarah did go for gold!
This month, Preview Magazine features another side of Sarah's multi-faceted life (we're not spilling more, go grab a copy!), as they dress her up in everything gold, elegant dresses with futuristic embellishments, all inspired by the runway looks of Versace, Dries Van Noten, Balmain and Michael Kors. Indeed the perfect look for our country's pop princess!

Mega Manila People Thought ABS-CBN’s “1DOL” An Alteration of GMA-7 “Diva”?
By albcorph
The first “kantaserye” Diva starring Regine Velasquez on GMA-7 has ended last July 2010, but can Mega Manila people be able to watch the upcoming “kantaserye” 1DOL(pronounced “idol”) starring Sarah Geronimo on ABS-CBN, just as they were already watched on the former one?
As I know, there were so many people who were still supporting many artists of GMA-7 watching various TV shows of the said TV station every day and every night, forgetting to tune-in to Channel 2 on their TV sets. If they did, then did they envy sometimes t0 discover various ABS-CBN artists, as well as criticizing controversial TV host Willie Revillame on the defunct noontime TV showWowowee, causing slump TV audience ratings in Mega Manila and eroded credibility of ABS-CBN?
And aside from speaking about this, most of the camp of loyal GMA-7 artists thought that the said upcoming “kantaserye” on ABS-CBN, closely related to inspired from the hit US musical TV series Glee, may be “too cheap, conventional, unpopular, and sometimes too basic,” unlike from being enjoyed from watchingDiva with “seriously strong storytelling, thoughtful, sincere, and more conservative personality and acting stint.” (Despite of this, ABS-CBN would do their best in order to make good quality show concept without distracting to everyone who are not yet enjoying to watch Channel 2.) Why envy of this when they compared from watching Diva? Whether they like it or not who were not being a fan of Sarah Geronimo and Sam Milby for the role of the show, it’s up to their responsibility…
While 1DOL will be aired on TV starting September 6, 2010, ABS-CBN introduced an extraordinary activity to promote for watching their new musical TV show to outsiders in Metro Manila, known as “flash dance mob” having a sign of the title of a new show on their T-shirt and dance together playing a music of a themetune entitledYou’re Always Be My Number One sung by Sarah Geronimo. This activity was seen on the preview during the commercial break on ABS-CBN having a scene in Market! Market! mall in Taguig, and then it was repeated in SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. ABS-CBN hopefully believed that the people would aware to watch this, only if they would give good, positive reviews.
So this would be a biggest trend between those readying to watch the upcoming new season of Glee missing to watch the appearance of internationally-recognized Filipino singer Charice Pempengco and those who were a loyal Sarah Geronimo fans and Sam Milby fans readying to watch 1DOL. It’s up to other Mega Manila people—as well as kids, teens, or young adult ones—to decide which musical TV show—whether at US ones or Pinoy ones—would suit their viewing pleasure. Or else they would rather watch primetime GMA-7 and/or TV5 shows.
I remember, even for us, when ABS-CBN introduced Sarah Geronimo’s first soap TV series Sarah The Teen Princess aired in afternoon block despite the fact that it was not yet a hit to the viewers, until the network has succeeded Bituing Walang Ningningand Pangarap Na Bituin in primetime block where Sarah Geronimo has played a role in the past aforementioned two TV shows, but not enough high TV ratings in Mega Manila.

My thoughts exactly. I was going to say the same thing. I get the gist of the article but the writing needs major editing.
