MANILA, Philippines - Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo on Wednesday renewed her contract with ABS-CBN for another year, ending speculations that she might transfer to rival network TV5 after her newest series “Idol.”
In an interview after signing the contract, Geronimo said there’s no need to transfer to other network since she’s happy being a Kapamilya star.
"Dito ay at home na at home po ako at napakalaki po ng naitulong sa career ko ng ABS-CBN. Sila po ang tumulong na makilala ako ng mga tao as Sarah Geronimo, sa ASAP, aktres sa mga teleserye, at even sa pelikula sa Star Cinema. Napaka-happy ko po at walang dahilan para umalis," Geronimo said.
Geronimo added that ABS-CBN has lined up a lot of projects for her including musical series “Idol,” which premiered on Monday.
"Bonggang bongga at major major ang pasasalamat namin sa mga Kapamilya natin na sumubaybay ng premiere noong Monday. Ito very excited na po kami kasi talagang dito na mare-reveal ang puso ng istorya ng buhay ni Billy o ni Jean at lumabas na din si Coco Martin as Lando," Geronimo said.
Geronimo admitted that she got worried after hearing the news of her purported transfer, prompting her to ask her talent manager about the issue.
"Oo may mga nagsabi sa akin at narinig ko sa ibang tao pa. Nag-worry, opo. I asked my manager at sinabi niyang hindi po totoo talaga," Geronimo said
Also present during the contract signing were ABS-CBN Channel head Cory Vidanes, Entertainment head Linggit Tan, Business Unit head Deo Endrinal, Business Unit head Joyce Liquicia and Geronimo's mother, Divine.

I'm glad, natapos na rin yong issue tungkol sa paglipat ni Sarah sa KV5.....pumirma na
siya ng another contract kaya tuloy ang ligaya.
Lahat noong mga other TV stations ay siguradong bibigyan ng magagandang projects si bebe Sarah
tulad ng ibibigay sa kanya ng ABS/CBN, ang pagkaka-iba nga lang, mas professional, classy at
bongga kung maghandle ng mga projects ni bebe Sarah ang ABS/CBN.....congrats to both parties,
lalo na sa bebe Sarah natin!!!

Hindi pwedeng wala sa contract signing si Boss Vic. He is the manager of Bebe Sarah. o kung di-man isa sa mataas sa VIVA ang dapat na present sa pirmahan. Alam kong hindi gagawin nina Mommy Divine na umaksyon ng sila-sila lang, without VIVA. Marespetong pamilya ang Geronimos!
Salamat din at napanatag na rin ang ating mga kalooban tungkol sa lipatang ito. At nakita n'yo naman kung gaano katotoo ang ating nag-iisang iDOL! Pagsinabi n'yang hindi siya lilipat...totoo yun at walang pag-aalinlangan...heto nga't nagkapirmahan na ng bagong kontrata. Congratz sa iyo aming mahal na Prinsesa Sarah! omg.ok nga nakahinga nanga tayo na pumirma na ulit,pero bk8 one yr lang?naku naman,ang bilis kaya ng isang taon,tapos another yr.nanaman,parang hindi parin ako makapaniwala na ganun na ang sitwasyon ngayon iisang taon taon nalang siya magrerenew.sana 4 or 5 yrs ang pipirmahan niya.tingin ko may problema cguro ang manager ni sg sa sa abs,kaya hindi nagpakita kasi lagi naman kasama dati if may contract signing pero ngayon bakit wla siya?dati kasama siya nung last yr na pumirma,ibig sbihin bawat taon taon nalang si sg.mag rerenew.medyo hindi parin ako makahinga ng maluwag kasi ang bilis lumipas ng taon.paano if wla ng idol?sana umabot ang idol ng 2yrs.hahaha joke.para mas mahaba at manatili lagi si bebe sg.gabi gabi sa teleserye.eniweiz,thanks for sharin.sigi hanggang sa susunod muli

wala si boss vic sa mismong contract signing, baka malungkot...toinks!
i hope mas maging vocal at mas makielam si sarah sa career niya, be wiser & bolder! matalino ka at alam mo kung saan at ano ang dapat mong gawin... huwag lang oo ng oo kung anong gustuhin ng manager mo, iba na ngayon....pwedeng dati oo ka lang ng oo pero ngayon na established na ang career mo, mas magandang involve ka na sa pagdedecide dahil ikaw naman nag nagwowork.
