Sarah Geronimo softens stand on movie with Lloydy

There seems to be a slight ray of hope that the third pairing of Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz will push through after all.

The Pop Star’s camp initially refused to do the third installment of the tandem’s blockbuster movies “A Very Special Love” and “You Changed my Life.”

“Hindi ko alam kung bakit siya hindi natuloy. Hindi ko talaga alam kung ano ‘yung totoong reason,” John Lloyd explained in his past interview.

But Sarah is now singing a different tune. She seems ready to pair with Lloydy again.

Sarah stressed that her priority for now is her newly launched TV series on ABS-CBN.

“Sabi ko nga, isa-isa lang. Mag-concentrate lang muna tayo sa isang proyekto. Magpaka-Billie muna ako para talagang ma-absorb ng mga tao ‘yung character ko dito sa seryeng ito,” she explained on “Showbiz News Ngayon” on Sept. 7.

Sarah’s Billie character in “Idol” is full of hope. She’s a singer who turned her back on stardom to lead a simple life after a twist of fate.

The third pairing, though, would not continue where Sarah’s Laida Magtalas and Lloyd’s Miggy Montenegro characters had left off. This, Sarah wishes.

“Gusto ko bagong istorya naman,” Sarah said.

The pop star is hopeful that there would be a new material, which would suit both of them in their third team-up.

“Sana... Ewan ko. Bahala na si Lord... bahala na ang management... ang Viva.”

So, when does she see it happening?

“Siguro next year maayos na,” Sarah said.

Sarah and John Lloyd’s successful pairing resulted in their being crowned Box-Office Queen and King at the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Award.

alam ko ang unang2 maliligayahan sa balitang iyan ay ang mga ashlloyd baldiks....
siguro naman magiging masaya na ang ashlloyd followers sa balitang ito!

yon naman talaga ang sinabi ni Sarah noong unang interviehin siya tungkol sa susunod
na movie nila ni JL.....gusto niya, another story at hindi na part 3 ng YCML....gusto
kasi niya daw iwanan ito na isang mega-blockbuster.....biglang nabuhay ang dugo kong

Mga writer nga naman oo, pinalabas pang lumambot ang ating Prinsesa sa kanyang paninindigan na wala ng part 3. Ang linaw ng sinabi ni Bebe na hangga't maaari ay ayaw na niyang magkaroon pa ng part 3 ang Laida at Miggy love story. Pero depende pa rin sa kanyang Viva family at Abs-Cbn kung gusto pa itong ituloy at siyempre hindi sya makatututol doon. Paliwanag pa nya na pwede pa naman sila ni JLC na magpartner sa pelikula, bakit hindi...basta lang ibang istorya naman. Gusto nyang hayaan na lang ang AVSL at YCML sa kanyang kinalalagyan at proud na proud sya sa dalawang pelikulang ito. Hindi sya nagbago ng stand at pinanindigan nya iyon...itong writer talagang ito ohhh...ang sarap mong...!

Totoo ba yung mga kumakalat na issue about Shaina and Johnloyd ayokong sabihin kasi napaka bastos, when I heard about it parang ayaw ko munang makasama ni Sarah si Loydi kasi ayokong mabastos si Sarah ang wholesome pa naman nya.

Marami ng version ang kwentong barberong yan... actually dalawa na ang ospital na lumalabas diyan... it's up to you kung maniniwala ka o hindi.

personal na buhay nila yun wag na natin pakialaman... hindi naman si Sarah kasali doon eh.
