The Magic of Sarah Geronimo (Record Breaker Concert Tour in Lipa City)

It was another night filled with tremendous amount of excitement and entertainment as MD Productions in cooperation with Viva Entertainment brought the country’s Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo in Lipa City for her Record Breaker concert tour, September 17, 2010.
It was Sarah Geronimo’s third concert here in Batangas but the reception given to her by the people here is still overwhelming. The Record Breaker concert tour also features Asia’s Pop Idol and romantic balladeer, Christian Bautista, RnB Prince Jay-R (as replacement to Charlie Green who flew back to UK for an important matter to attend to), and the boyband XLR8.
The concert was held, again, at De La Salle Lipa Sentrum. The venue was filled with Sarah G’s fans and supporters of the pop star’s music. There were even some ‘Popsters’ (Sarah G’s loyal fans) who came all the way from Manila just to see Sarah in the Batangas leg of the Record Breaker concert tour.
Sarah truly has that charm that captivates her audience every time she performs on stage. She’s on her element and it’s really amusing how she had evolved from a “biritera” to a well-rounded performer she is now. I like her better when she perform upbeat songs which allow her to dance as well.
Maybe majority of those who watched the concert will agree that the best part of it was Sarah’s Michael Jackson medley. It was amazing! She unleashed the right attitude on stage and has equaled the unshakened energy of her back-up dancers, the G Force.
The now hunky crooner Christian Bautista added the kilig factor that night as he showed his playful side. Ang kulit n’ya! But he’s super cute and he knows how to catch everybody’s attention and make all girls swoon over his undoubtedly overflowing charm.
Jay-R performed two songs and heightened the crowd’s excitement as well. Meanwhile, Viva’s boyband, XLR8 injected the P-Pop factor in the concert. It’s like watching Korean pop idols dancing and carrying a tune on a music video and come alive on stage.
The concert lasted for about two hours. Sulit naman. Now I know how Batangueños adore Sarah Geronimo. Even if she’s been here a number of times before, Sarah G’s magic never fails to amaze the Batangueño crowd.
