Ang biglaang pagwawakas ng Idol na pinagbibidahan nina Sarah Geronimo, Sam Milby at Coco Martin ay dahil raw sa mataas na production cost nito at hindi dahil mababa ang ratings.

wat else new sa abs.. sanayan n tlga na pag viva artists hindi nila prioritize..

That's fine. Kung may sapat na pondo at panahon kasabay sa pag-ere ng ibang ABS-CBN shows na napakahaba ang bilang ng episodes sa loob ng tatlo o apat na buwan o mahigit, sana magkaroon ng pangalawang season para maituloy ang mahahaba pang kuwento ng show, lamang kung may espasyo pagkatapos na magwakas ng ibang shows. Huwag sanang maitulad ang original US TV show na Fame.
The network should not just expect to monitor the TV ratings of Sarah's current musical show in Mega Manila (but it would remain its dominance nationwide and worldwide) despite of people's and critic's different perception.
To loyal ABS-CBN viewing fans as well as GMA-7 viewing fans in Mega Manila, bagamat napakaganda naman ang kuwento at choreography ng show nito at kahit wala silang balak magkumpetensya na gumawa ng "loveteam" scene na nakagawian ng ibang shows, huwag sana ninyong mag-aayaw ang panonood ng musical serye ni Sarah G kundi suportahan nito dahil karapatan ng network na kumita kasabay ang pagpapabuti ng pagpapahalaga sa serbisyo nila sa mga manonood. Kahit hindi kayo loyal na maging fan ni Sam Milby, Coco Martin, at Sarah Geronimo kundi kasalukuyan kayong sumoporta ng ibang artista, gawing open naman ang inyong favoritism factor kaysa gawing "forever *blah*blah*blah" ang iniisip ninyo. At isa pa, hindi ginarantiya ng ABS-CBN na gawing patok-na-patok na palabas—tulad ng nakagawian ng GMA-7 shows na baka kung minsan may sabit lang ang kalidad ng pag-arte at istorya—kung kaya mai-focus na lang ang magandang kalidad ng palabas kaysa basta-basta mapaswabe ng popularidad nito. Don't compare Regine's past musical TV show Diva as well as Glee kasi iba ang concept nito.

Okay, I'm really trying not to say anything about this because we all know na kahit ano pang sabihin natin hindi na natin maibabalik ang mga nangyari. I guess today is the day that I just needed to vent out and move on. I just want to give my opinion on this issues. 
Okay, rating daw ang issue. The first two weeks of the show IDOL has a good standing in ratings. The only reason that the ratings went down is because that it has been move to a timeslot that the intended audience of IDOL cannot watch. Alam naman nang ABS na maraming bata at matanda as well as yung mga teenager and high schoolers at iba ang mahilig kay Sarah kaya yung timeslot after Noah was perfect for the show dahil covered all age bracket . Sige, why don't we agree that the ratings are down (which is explainable because of the timeslot moved) but the least that ABS can do which they always do in the past when a show has a poor rating is to sandwich it to two teleserye that has high ratings. Then ilagay in between Noah, IDOL, Imortal I bet you it will hold to 20-30% rating. So bakit hindi nila ginawa ito? Di ba ang original schedule when Imortal premieres eh, Noah, Imortal, IDOL, Magkaribal ano ang nangyari at naging Noah, Imortal, Magkaribal then IDOL.
Production cost daw ang problema. ABS has been in the teleserye business for 60 years offering pinoy soap opera. Alangang hindi mo alam ang ma-iincur na cost nang isang teleserye ahead of time of when you already know kung sino ang mga lead stars at co-stars mo at kung ano ang takbo at kwento nang istorya. Sa 60 years na gumagawa ka nang soap opera wag sabihin na hindi pa gamay kung what goes behind and in front of the camera including the finance aspect of it.
Storytelling is weak. In fairness naman, gumaganda ang istorya as the days goes by. Pansin ko lang bakit sa iba nakakapag-iisip sila nang magandang istorya pero pagdating kay Sarah laging "okay na yan pwede na yan" istorya. ABS knows the capability of Sarah when it comes to acting. She can hold her own. Di ba ABS is known to push their artist beyond it's capability so bakit kay Sarah hindi nila magawa dahil ba hindi sya star magic talent. I don't really get this. Exclusive na nga sya at hindi sya lumalabas sa ibang istasyon.
Constraint of schedules. Parang pinalalabas naman na parang pinanganak kami kahapon nito eh. Wag nyong sabihin hindi nyo alam ang lahat nang schedule ng artist ahead of time bago nyo ginawa ito. Dahil most of them and even early of the year na kay laid out na ang schedule nila in terms of gigs, movies and concerts. Di ba ang isang teleserye must have one month or one month and half of show that has been taped already before airing it out. Samantalang itong IDOL three weeks pa lang yata eh ang na i-tape ipinalabas na kagad. Please patawarin nyo ako but I don't mean to dissed or bad mouth Imortal but I just want to make a point. Kung tutuusin mas marami ang na-itape nang imortal kesa sa IDOL so bakit hindi ito ang inilabas muna. Correct me if I am wrong but I read somewhere that IDOL is not intended to be shown until late October or early November. Kaya nagkaroon nang constraint of schedules is probably because they didn't go by the timeline that it was supposed to be. Ang tanong dyan is who made the decision to air out IDOL early?
I have been an ABS-CBN audience for a long time. I really don't want to believe that they too play this kind of game kagaya nang ibang channels but in so many instances especially kay Sarah that this is more evident. Something smells fishy at hindi isda parang tao.
That's it, thanks for the space. Si Lord na ang bahala sa mga taong umaagrabyado kay Sarah. I feel a lot better I think. I'm ready to move on pero parang it's hard nung napanood ko yung thursday episode, kasi ang daming possibilities na dapat pang mangyari...this is for another thread, i'm going there now..gif)
