Sarah G. at Eastwood City

Sunday afternoon at Eastwood City became more memorable last July 17. Families, couples and barkada’s gathered around Eastwood Central Park to personally see and hear the Popstar Princess.

An hour before the show, games such as a quiz about Sarah and a mini singing contest were conducted for the fans and audience. Almost everyone knew the songs, album titles and personal information about Sarah Geronimo, which made it difficult for the host to determine the winner.

Eastwood was at its loudest when Sarah Geronimo went up the stage to greet the audience. People from all corners of the concert area were screaming their love and support for the Popstar Princess.

The audience became more thrilled and exhilarated when Sarah sang songs from her latest album ‘One Heart.’ The songs that she performed were ‘Sino Nga Ba Siya,’ ‘Kung Siya Ang Mahal Mo,’ ‘I Miss You,’ and ‘Handang Umibig Muli.’ Sarah shared that these love songs don’t necessarily reflect the state of her love life. It was merely a “coincidence,” she jokingly said.

The show became much sweeter and livelier when Kean Cipriano of Callalily joined Sarah on stage. While they performed the song ‘Bata,’ Kean can’t help but express her admiration for the Popstar Princess.

Before closing the show, the audience sang along with Sarah when she performed the song ‘Fallin.’ Her finale performance definitely inspired and heartened every person at Eastwood City. Time seemed to stop while Sarah serenaded the audience.

Lastly, Sarah was all smiles to her audience as she signed their CD’s and posed for a picture.
