If there’s one thing that makes Sarah Geronimo so admirable and lovable, it’s definitely her humility. She might have been named as the Popstar Princess, but fame and power never got into her head. She’s still the simple and talented Sarah Geronimo who won as grand champion last 2002.
With her successful career, Sarah never fails to thank the Lord, her family, her management, and especially her fans. In fact, “thank you,” is a phrase that Sarah expresses almost every minute. This might be the reason why she’s continually receiving blessings. Sarah knows how to look back where she came from and knows how to value the people who love her.
Thus, last August 10, Sarah celebrated her birthday with the people close to her heart – the POPSTERS. It might have been a late celebration, but still, hundreds of fans and supporters came to greet and wish the Popstar Princess a very happy birthday.
The event started with a thanksgiving prayer from Sarah’s mother, Mrs. Divine Geronimo. Afterwards, the attendees enjoyed a sumptuous dinner. It was a night that celebrated Sarah’s unending blessings. Before the program, Pastor Paolo Punzalan of Victory Fort shared some biblical quotes, inspirational messages and a prayer for Sarah Geronimo and her fans.
Then, Ate Mhel of Popsters graced the night’s program. Selected Popsters presented an energetic dance medley of Sarah’s ASAP performances. A Popster also performed an acoustic version of I Miss You and got the chance to sing with Sarah. Meanwhile, Sarah was serenaded by a Popster through the song I’ll Be.
Tears of joy flowed when the Popsters thanked Sarah for the inspiration and joy she gives. To show their infinite love, the Popsters read a very touching poem and prayer for Sarah Geronimo. Before the night ended, Sarah Geronimo once again thanked the Popsters for their love and support.
