Anne Curtis launches ANNEBISYOSA

Posted Image

One of the most beautiful faces in showbusiness today belongs to Anne Curtis. Proof of it is that you can virtually see her gorgeous profile everywhere around the metro – on the façade of your favorite mall, at the back of a commuter bus, and the numerous billboards that you pass by everyday. All that plus the fact that she’s on the telly almost everyday of the week as TV host, actress and as one of the biggest young stars of the Kapamilya network.

With all of this going on, you would think that for Anne Curtis, all of this would be enough. But lo and behold, Anne is still aiming for more.

Young and vivacious Anne has always fantasized about recording her own album. Now that has become a reality as Viva Artists Agency, Anne’s management, and Viva Records is finally releasing Anne Curtis' debut album. Lovingly entitled "AnneBisyosa," this album will be a realization of one of Anne's long-time aspirations.

Fans of the actress/model will be pleasantly surprised with what Anne has prepared for them. And the casual listener will be as well as "AnneBisyosa" is quite the pop record that reflects Anne's fresh and bubbly nature.

She starts off with an upbeat original called "Tinamaan Ako," and if there was an OPM pop song for Anne out there -- this would be it! Fresh, carefree and not to mention melodious, just like the singer.

Keeping up with the up-tempo start is her cover of Cindy Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," and a reworking of Cathy Dennis' mid 90s hit "Too Many Walls," remixed and arranged here by Anne's "Showtime" cohort DJ M.O.D. Quite the fan of pop music herself, Anne also chooses to remake New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle," and her edgy pop take on Meredith Brooke’s “Mouth” to give her listeners a bit more listening flavor.

Switching onto ballads -- Anne is all business with her take on a song-belter's classic with "Alone." Trust us when we say that when you hear this one you will be converted. And finally, lending star power to Curtis' own overflowing celebrity is the one and only Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo on an entertaining duet on "Total Eclipse Of The Heart."

Whatever your disposition, one thing’s for sure: "AnneBisyosa" will bring you cheers and will entertain you to no end because it's catchy, bubbly and positive -- the best traits of Anne's personality captured on record in “AnneBisyosa.”

Anne is a self-confessed Sarah Geronimo fan and halos lahat yata ng concerts ni Sarah sa Araneta ay pinanood niya. Hindi ko alam kung bakit nakakapagsalita ka ng ganito about her and i don't want to judge you pero sana hinay-hinay naman sa mga comments/opinion mo cos for all we know isa si Sarah sa mga inspirasyon niya sa paggawa ng album na ito. And if i remember it right si anne mismo ang nagsabi sa isa sa mga interviews niya na this album is not to be taken seriously, kaya nga Annebisyosa ang title eh...

Don't get me wrong si Sarah ang ultimate IDOL ko kaya nga ako nandito palagi sa site niyang ito. It's just that i believe that we need not underestimate nor put other artist down just to put Sarah on top or to prove to others that she is on top. Maraming paraan andpara patunayan at ipakita ang suporta natin kay Sarah ngunit ang paggamit ng mga salitang nakakasakit at nakakadegrade ay HINDI isa sa mga iyon...
