MANILA, Philippines - Singer-actress Sarah Geronimo said on Wednesday that her role in her upcoming film, "Won't Last a Day Without You," is one that is close to her heart.
In an interview with dzMM TeleRadyo program "Mismo," Geronimo shared that she and her character in the movie have some things in common.
"Ang role ko po dito, isang [akong] radio DJ. Tapos nagbibigay po ako ng mga love advice, pero 'yung mga love advice ko po lagi siyang iisa, lagi kong dini-discourage 'yung love," she said.
"Sinasabi ko sa mga callers ko na huwag kayong magpaka-martyr sa love, hindi totoo ang true love kasi nagkaroon po ako ng painful experience sa pag-ibig [dito sa movie], parang ['yung nangyari] sa totoong buhay [ko] din naman po," she added.
Geronimo did not reveal who she was referring to.
Geronimo also talked about her latest movie, “Won’t Last a Day Without You.”
“Kakatapos lang po naming mag-last day [ng shooting] kanina lang, kaninang umaga. Finally, natapos din po ‘yung film tapos dubbing na lang po,” she said.
“Won’t Last a Day Without You” is Geronimo's second film with actor Gerald Anderson.
It will be shown in theaters nationwide starting November 30.
