Sarah Geronimo remains mum about the 'real score' between her and Gerald Anderson
MANILA, Philippines – Pop star Sarah Geronimo insisted that there’s no truth to the claim that her leading man and rumored boyfriend Gerald Anderson waited for her inside her “ASAP Rocks” dressing room last Sunday.
Apparently, the report came from an unnamed source who also said that Sarah’s mother, Divine, has allegedly been rooting for the two to become closer.
Gerald likewise denied this, saying that he hardly sees the singer these days but that they keep communication lines open through SMS.
Now this, among other things, has been causing some people to speculate that the two have been hiding a romantic relationship from the public.
The body of proof
During a media huddle in an event a couple of weeks ago, Sarah, with much hesitation, revealed that her leading man gave her a necklace. She added that Gerald also gave her parents a gift.
It is also being speculated that Sarah’s suitor Miguel Villafuerte, son of Camarines Sur Gov. Elrey Villafuerte, has allegedly already stopped pursuing the pop princess. The news about Miguel’s interest for Sarah was first reported early last year.
More recently, another proof of the couple’s rumored relationship had surfaced in the form of a joke made by John Lloyd Cruz, Sarah’s previous leading man, on “ASAP Rocks.”
John Lloyd was seen telling Sarah in jest in the show’s Jan. 29 episode, “’Baby, baby’ ka diyan. Eh meron ka’ng… GE GE. GE GE, Gege,” possibly in reference to the first two letters of the name of the singer’s rumored boyfriend.
