Korek! Matagal na ring nabakante ang pinoy music scene.
Meron pakonti-konting 'spruts,' nauso acoustic, may mga konting bright spots.
Pero, kung matatandaan ang pinakahuling talagang 'scene' eh yung '90s bands.
Hmmm, hindi kaya ito na ang year of Sarah, 'di kaya a decade or 2.
Wow! Na-inspire din ni Sarah ang bagong "breed" ng musicians.
Kahit ung mga 'oldies' o 'vets' eh, mukhang nabuhayan.
Basta, korek, Sarah single handedly brought back the pinoy music scene to life!

That's the word I'm finding. Kahit anong genre yakang-yaka ni Sarah!
Any good song she can make interesting, even more beautiful. I haven't heard anybody sounded as great with such diverse musical style. I don't think it was even possible. She just exceeded all my expectations.
Ipagpipilitan ko talaga ito: Parang bandang P.O.T. diverse. Pag may pagkakataon kahit sa panaginip na lang tatayo ako ng banda. Eh, di ano pa nga ba: Sarah. As in P.O.T. at Sarah G.
Every life's episode has a story to tell, has a song to be sung. Sarah you're The Songstress!

Unforgettable experience sa akin ito. Sobrang touched ako.
It was a time for mourning. The day after "Araw ng mga Patay" namatay ang lolo ko. I really felt the sadness in my lola. She really loved lolo. And then Christmas time came. It was not the same.
Next came lolo's birthday in January. We visited lola, had a "salu-salo" with our cousins, tiyo, tiya. I was sitting outside by the front door, then I heard the Search for the Star in a Million jingle. Lola and little cousins were watching TV. It was magic. I got to see lola smile. She looked at the commercial uplifted. "Natuwa ang lola mo!" It was a nice feel. Reminiscent of how lola used to look at me with so much affection when I was a kid. Well, I was the paboritong apo.
It was twice as special. I have my paboritong lola with my paboritong Sarah.
It was a sad time that ended up with a smile.
Thanks Sarah!

It's Mother's Day. I was watching champs when there was a presence at my back. It was my mom. She said to me, "Anak look at my tears." I said, "Ma, bakit po?" She said, "Buti pa si Sarah may flowers para sa nanay nya." Yikes! It was humiliating. Truthfully I don't think it was about the flowers. It's something else.
