By the time you read this, Sarah Geronimo should have quit GMA 7 (where she co-hosts the Sunday show S.O.P. and the talent show Star For A Night, her stepping stone to stardom) and is ready to sign an exclusive contract with ABS-CBN which, according to Funfare's Bohol Avenue DPA, has "big things lined up for Sarah," including her own soap.
Described as "the new Regine Velasquez" because of her powerful voice, Sarah, 15, is not the overnight sensation that everbody thinks she is. Before she won as Star For A Night, the talent search produced by Viva Television, Sarah joined -- and lost -- other singing competitions. She even did a bit part in the Camille Prats-starrer Sarah And Munting Prinsesa (a title that now fits Sarah to a T).
Her win as Star For A Night ame with a house and lot and P1 million, part of which was used by the Geronimo family to pay old debts and the tuition fee of Sarah's siblings and to expand the small family business. And also: A recording contract with Viva Records which produced her debut album, Sarah Geronimo: Popstar A Dream Come True, which has been certified "platinum."
Throught it all, Sarah has remained level-headed (she should be, otherwise a premature bug-headedness could weigh her down the drain faster than she could say, "Is this all a dream?"). Besides the album, Sarah has also starred in her own (two) smash-hit solo concerts and appeared in two Viva movies, Captain Barbell and Filipinas, both shown at last December's Metro Filmfest.

I prefer GMA over ABS, I dont know the reason bakit sya lumipat..i thought she would concentrate
on her singing career first, di naman nya kelangan ngayon ng soap opera o sariling TV show..
these projects would soon follow..Mas ok sa akin kung nag stay sya sa GMA along with Regine and Ogie,
I believe mas maaalagaan sya dun..It's nice seeing her at Search for a star along w/ regine and the contestants
who look up on her, but it's their decision(kung totoo man to) ,i wish her luck..good news

na muna sya s GMA..

oo nga po eh, kasi dun sya nanggaling sa GMA, dun sa search for a star.. mas maganda kasi sanang tignan kung andun din sya para dun sa mga sumasali ng "search for a star" kumbaga yun bang meron silang(mga contestant at audience) ni lolook up?! TFC? wala yata kami nun dito sa korea, hinde ko pa rin sya mapapanood...

Nagulat nga rin me, na nabasa sa FUNFARE na sarah QUITS GMA, and joining ABS!!! :angry: I never thought this will happen. I really like sarah pa naman din! As an artist! I think maganda naman ang chemistry nila ni Ms Regine eh! Ang hindi ko nga lang malaman kung bakit siya lumipat sa kabila??? And what made her decide???

Ito ang nababagay sa kabilang channel eh! :bite (Yum! Yum! Ang sarap kainin!)

Sarah, sana you should have stayed alittle bit longer sa GMA 7. Sayang talaga iyong opportunity mo na BAKA mawala nalang bigla... SOAP OPERA??? You should have not considered this option... Kasi, kung totoosin, magsikat pa rin ang mga nakukuha nating mga SOAP OPERA from korea, hongkong and other parts of the world... Nakikita mo ba ang carreer ni CLAUDINE B. and KRISTINE H.? halos wala nang kinang diba?

And in professionalism, there is SUCH A WORD na tinatawag na LOYALTY!!! And besides, look at where MARTIN NIEVERA and POPS FERNANDEZ now? DIba wala na rin sila sa DOS? Kasi, the management think di na sila mapapakinabangan.... I hope this will not happened to you!

ALAM mo?!?! Siguro, isa ako dun sa mga naunang bumili ang album mo! Kasi i really do believe in your talent. And i really believe on GMA 7! Ika nga nila, "KAPUSO!!!". Sayang talaga! I dont like buying CD's na produced by ABS-CBN... BAkit? Di ko lang talaga feel!!! Kita mo sila martin, even na andun siya sa DOS, ang mga albums niya hindi galing sa DOS... Kasi may REASON siguro si martin.... (Yan ang hindi ko na alam!) One last, naaalala mo ba iyong JEREMIAH? Diba sikat na sikat sila noon??? Look where they are now? Wala na masyado sa music industry... Dont blame in on priracy, ganyan talaga ang buhay sa DOS! Habang kumikinang ka, papakinabangan ka muna nila... Kapag naubos na ang kinang ng bituin mo, they are willing to let you go! That's the SAD PART!

Last na! Sana pwede mo pang bawiin ang mga pangyayari??? Wag ka na sanang umalis sa GMA 7! PLEASE!!!!!! Balik ka na sa kay ATE REGINE! Kung talagang matutuloy yang plans mo, GOOD LUCK NALANG!!!

Last, kung yung next album mo eh released by ABS-CBN (or should we say STAR RECORDS), baka 100times ko munang pag-iisipang bilhin... hindi dahil galit ako sa iyo ha! GALIT AKO SA DOS for pirating talents for SIETE!!!!! MADADAYA!!!!!!!!

agree ako jan, gaya gaya ang ABS-CBN, kase ganito yan, nagtrabaho kasi ako sa Manila broadcasting company for a year which is a frend of GMA, lage na lang kaming ginagaya, kawawa na kame, patio ung mga softwares namin pinirata nila, ang yabang yabang pa kala mo kung sino...
