Here I go. Hope you guys like the review.
Little background muna on the venue before the review. The concert was held at the Henderson Pavillion just east of Las Vegas. It was a pretty nice place. It was outdoors, but there was a tent. The stage wasn’t too big, but it was positioned very well. No matter where you were in the venue, you could see the stage pretty well. The concert was slated to start at 7:00 PM, but like the crazy guy I am, I went there at 4:00 hoping to get a glimpse of Sarah. Unfortunately, she didn’t come out. They started letting people in at about 6:00. It was cool because the champs each did a practice run with the mikes testing out the audio system.
The show didn’t actually start until 7:15. Wow, grabe talaga. I didn’t think I would be affected that much when I saw Sarah for the first time live on stage, but it was like I was seeing her for the first time. Ha ha, a bunch of us were shouting her name. They all came out together in the start. They sang “Fame.” Galing nila talaga. You can tell that they really prepared for this concert. Parang it was like watching world class singers who had been singing for many years already.
After the “Fame” medley, each of them did sang 80s songs like the ones they sang on Pinoy Idol. Frenchie sang “Material girl,” Rachelle sang this song that I am not familiar with, Christian followed by I think “Believe in” (not sure on the song either), Sheryn did “Girl’s just want to have fun.” Then, here comes Sarah doing her Michael Jackson moonwalk. Oh my goodness, the crowd went crazy. Then Mark sang that Wham song “Before you gogo” and I’m not sure about Raymond’s song. Lol, I’m so bad with 80s songs.
After that, they did a little promotional, and Raymond came out to sing. He sang the single from his album “Kung alam mo ba.” It was evident that many of the audience members didn’t know him, but he was able to get many of them to clap for him by the end of the performance.
Following Raymond was Sheryn. Ha ha, there were many Visayans in the crowd and she really played to that. She said jokes in Visayan and got many laughs. She sang her “Voice of Asia song”, “Kailan Kaya,” “Maybe,” and “Come in out of the rain.” Ha ha, I have to say this girl is pretty funny. There was part of the concert when she asked a puti Americano to adopt her.

My goodness, the next act got all the girls going. Ha ha, I almost went deaf. All the girls began yelling for Christian. I didn’t think he would make it out of the venue. He came down the stage while he was singing his songs. All the girls were hugging and kissing him. He sang the usual, “Kalian pa mai ikaw,” “Colour Everywhere,” “Hands to heaven,” and “The way you look at me.” Wow, grabe talaga ang powers ni Christian with the girls.
Of course, you can’t have Christian on stage without having Rachelle do a duet with him. They sang “Say that you love me.” Ganda talaga ang blending nila.
Rachelle sang her songs after the duet. She sang “From the start” and “Don’t Cry Out Loud.” The people really appreciated her powerful voice. They applauded her after each song.
Ha ha, sorry if my sequence is a little off guys. I was really busy trying to take pictures of Sarah at this time. I believe the four girls came out again after Rachelle sang her songs. Frenchie sang “RESPECT,” Sheryn sang “Rolling on the River,” and I cannot for the life of me remember what Rachelle sang. Sarah went last with “Last Dance.” Grabe, ang ganda yung last note na kinanta nya.
The novelty medley was next. Ha ha, nakatawa sila lahat. Indi mapakali si Sarah. Cute nya talaga. Galing nila mag patawa lahat.
After the medleys, Frenchie was up next. She was really good on stage too. She had a really great line. She asked those in the crowd who were mataba to raise their hands. Then, she said to remember that it isn’t that mataba sila, maliit lang yung mga ibang tao. Lol, tawang tawa lahat yung mga tao. She sang “If I ain’t got you.” Maganda yung rendition nya. She was a real crowd favorite.
Ay, tilian na naman yung mga babae after the next guest came out. Mark came out in this grey tuxedo. If you guys want to see what it looks at, go refer to my pics. He sang “Ikaw ang lahat sa akin.” Like Christian, he came down from the stage. My goodness, you couldn’t see him anymore. He was caught in a mass of women. It took almost all the security to get him back on stage. After his song, he called out the woman of the night.

Sarah came out in, of course, a pink dress. Tilian lahat yung mga Sarah-Mark fanatics. They sang “Let the love begin.” Galing nila.
After the duet, it was Sarah’s turn. Light muna sya. She sang “Lumingon Ka Lang.” She came from the stage. It was like having Christian and Mark coming down from the stage combined. Women and Men were all trying to get a hug from her. Ha ha, there was a lola who hugged her and wouldn’t let her go until the guards got involved. She followed “Lumingon Ka Lang” with “Can This Be Love.” Then, she sang “How Could You Say You Love Me.” Wow, she took the high part to a whole new level. Taas talaga. Finally, she began what would be the greatest performance of the night.
This was the performance I was waiting for. It was a medley of Sarah/Celine songs. The medley started of with “Forever’s Not Enough.” Pang warm up lang nya. Then she went into “Broken Vow.” Parang classical singer sya when she sings this song. Palapak lahat nung maga tao pagkatapos nya. It was just the beginning though because everyone began to buzz as Sarah sang “It’s all coming back to me.” Wow, it was out of this world. You can’t help but to scream for her after you hear her sing this song live. However, she was just building up to what would be the most incredible finale I have ever seen. After “It’s all coming back to me now,” she turned her back to the audience for a moment until the music for “To Love You More” came on. Oh man, every person was screaming after every high note, especially after she sang the “we’ll find a way…” part. I didn’t think she could top this, but then she ended her medley with the high part of “Forever’s not Enough.” During the “And If” part, she paused after And, then followed it with just an extremely high if. Goodness, I was standing at this point. I thought, “this girl doesn’t have to do anything else.” However, she had everyone standing for her when she ended the song with just an extremely powerful “Sooooo…..” It was the most incredible thing I have ever heard. She was leaving the stage and everyone was still clapping for her. This was what I had been waiting to hear from the first time I heard Sarah on TV. No one can compare to the talent of this girl.

The guys followed Sarah. They sang theme songs from movies. Christian went first with “Pangako Sa Yo.” Raymond followed with “Bastat Kasama Kita” and Mark sang a song that I am not familiar with. Christian went again and sang “Ikaw.” Raymond sang “It Might Be You.” Mark ended off the medley with the Spirits theme song “You’ll be safe here.”
Ha ha, the second highlight of the night (a very far second as compared to Sarah’s medley) was the biritan medley. Man, these girls are talented. Rachelle started it off with “I Will Always Love You.” Galing, kuwa nya lahat nung mga notes. Frenchie followed with “Love takes time.” Sheryn sang “All at once.” Ay, then comes Sarah comes out with “Hero.” Galing as usual. Mariah can’t even compare. Rachelle sang her second song which was “Never Too Far.” Palakpak yung karamihan nung nag whistle si Rachelle. Frenchie was after her and sang “Greatest love of all.” Sheryn sang “Can’t take this away from me.” Of course, anchoring the performance was Sarah. She sang “One moment in time.” Most other girls would just try to copy Whitney. However, Sarah just made the song her own. Ha ha, the crowd went crazy again when she did the end of the song, the “I will be free” part. All these girls can do the high note, but Sarah just knows how to do those unforgettable notes. Finally, all the girls sang “When You Believe.” The crowd loved them.
Well, it was nearing the end of the show by this point. All the champions took turns thanking all the sponsors. When they were done thanking everyone, it was time for the finale medley. Sheryn, Mark, Rachelle, and Christian sang “Go the Distance. Frenchie, Raymond, and Sarah sang “A moment like this.” Then, all the guys came in and began to sing “Go the Distance.” Finally, all of them together sang “I Believe.” Taasan lahat nung mga tao. Daming sumisigaw for Sarah. All the sponsors got on stage to thank the performers.

Time for the review.
Raymond: This guy has a great voice. He has the most volume to his voice out of all the guys. However, it was evident that he was the least polished performer. He seemed very uneasy on stage. Still though, he did a great job.
Sheryn: No matter how I may feel about her as a performer, I can’t deny that she possesses a great voice. Malinis sya kumanta and you can really hear the volume in her voice. She is also very comfortable on stage. I’m still not a fan of hers, but I can appreciate why others are.
Christian: It’s evident that he doesn’t have a powerful voice, but he really knows how to make use of the one he has. Though it isn’t powerful, it is technically sound. Ha ha, and there is no doubt to his appeal to the girls. He’s also has a great stage presence. It’s like he has been doing it for years.
Rachelle: No doubt this girl has pipes. Her voice is booming and she has no problem reaching the high notes. All she needs to work on is interacting with crowd. There wasn’t really anything wrong, but she really couldn’t get the crowd reacting to her like Sarah, Mark, Christian, Sheryn, and Frenchie. But hey, she’s got ample time to develop this aspect of her performance.
Frenchie: I have always liked her since her SIAM days, and seeing her live has only reinforced that. She has a voice that you would expect to hear an African American singer would have. Also, she was the best at making people laugh without really putting much effort. She was so comfortable up on stage.
Mark: Great voice, Great stage presence, Great performer. He was really able to hold his own segment. The crowd was really into him (haha, well, mostly the women in the crowd). What I really liked seeing about him this time was he wasn’t doing the shakey singing that he usually does. It gets distracting at times when he does that. However, he was extremely relaxed on stage.

Sarah: Ay, what more can I say. I didn’t think I would be affected so much when I saw her live. I mean, I had seen how great she was on TV. I had no idea that she could top that. However, she just further implanted in my head the fact that she really is the best. In my mind, she has already come into the category of great singers like Celine, Whitney, Mariah, Aretha, Regine, and Lani. It’s not just that her voice is powerful and can reach all the high notes. All the other girls can do that. However, what sets Sarah apart is when she performs, you can’t help but to remember the performance. You feel it and it stays with you. I have seen her sing her medley songs countless times, but when I got to see her sing it live at the concert, it was like I was hearing them for the first time. I knew I was going to give her a standing ovation no matter what, but after she was done, I was compelled to stand and cheer for her. This girl is the best and that is that.
Hehe, well, that is my review. After three long years of waiting, I finally got to see my favorite singer live. If you didn’t get it from my review, it definitely was not a let down. Sarah fan forever.

Wow JB, what an exiting and detailed account of the concert. I was there, but when I was reading your story, I felt as if I'm watching the show again. Good job. [<!--emo&
