While staying at a resort far far from the Manila, the hotel room had this coffeetable book, Philippines yearbook 2006, So we decided to browse and see whats inside... we found out it contained a list of 52 Filipinos who will be best able to describe the Philippines and Filipinos to Foreigners (or even to fellow filipinos) by their opinions and views....the list was so diverse, it contained movers and shakers of Philippine industry and politics, entertainment icons, religious leaders, etc... from a little kid to an elderly statesman,... while browsing through the book, lo and behold at number 29, we were "shocked" to see the photo! looked at it twice and saw the page had sarah geronimo!.. we just had to take a clear picture of it so we can share here...her photo seems to show her " contrast" from the simple, religious pretty lass to an ala-blairwitch type of person, hehehehe
she was sandwiched betwee ryan cayabyab and senator Magsaysay, the photos of the personalities, ranged from simple, to whimsical, Boy abunda's photo showed him inside a confession box, while senator magsaysay was shot as a tired boxer sitting in a ring corner. Other names which I can remember were, dolphy and kids, tulfo brothers, Locsin architects, jose concepcion III...the book is published yearly and really talked about. The president always has a message inside, and oftentimes the book is given as a gift to foreign dignitaries, and put in hotels...
