Ang Mahiwagang Baul 19.9% vs. TV Patrol Linggo 20.8%;

Hoo U 17.5% vs. Rated K 20.9%;

The buzz: The competition between ASAP ’06 and SOP is heating up. Due to low ratings, SOP had to introduce drastic changes such as an all-star opening number, two-location broadcast and cloning the ASAP ’06 format. The result: ASAP ’06 still rules! Want a sampler? While those nameless GMA singing champions were hamming it up in SOP, ASAP ’06 had a Miss Saigon tribute with no less than the Lea Salonga, Robert Cena, Isay Alvarez, among others, singing individually and collectively the hit musical’s most memorable songs. In other words, no comparison!
