i heard about the news that sg.ph might fold due to low hits. while i consider sg.com my SG home, shempre nakakalungkot pa rin kasi it's something related to sarah.

i guess the main difference between sg.ph and sg.com is that sg.com is ran by fans for the fans. there's extra love and attention when people post here. it's a personal experience, it's not just another "website to maintain" for us esgiecomians. people go through extents to take pics, vids, scour the web to share pics of sarah here. these people are the unsung heroes of sg.com.

i've always been proud to be part of the sg.com family. simula nung newbie pa ko, until maging regular, until ma-bestow ng honor to be of service to the community as a staff member. i might have gone AWOL recently, but i know my username and password by heart, and when i log in, it's like i never left.

sg.com also had its moments when it seems like nobody's posting anymore, but the admins kept the site running. one of them is a very dear friend of mine, and he swore that he will never let go of the site if it's the last thing he'll do. it's all for the love of sarah.

so i hope viva won't take down sg.ph just because of the low hits. i think the better approach would be to improve the site so people will be logging in often and have the same experience as they have in sg.com. but if viva decides they don't want to go through all that trouble, then by all means, it's their decision.

sg.com is here to stay, to give "shelter" to all popsters who need or want a home.

ps. on that note, i consider pex as my "resthouse".
