I would HIGHLY recommend upgrading to windows 7, as it's a much better core system overall. They look more or less the same though, graphically.

hi Anthony, i heard a lot of bad reviews regarding windows 7. you think it will be okay if i upgrade my OS into Win7? is it more safe to use win7 instead of vista?

ate jhonie, i think overall, windows7 is still better than vista.
i know people from my work place na nag-convert from vista to windows7 and they never looked back. biggrin.gif

kuya adeno, ano nga ba ang mas ok? hehe!

Mas safe siguro ang W7, kasi parang W7 is a XP version of Vista though I'm yet to try Windows 7. *lol*

There is no "best" operating system in general. It is best, if it suits you and if it meets your needs and expectations of a good O/S.

So far my uMacbook Pro 15", 2.66gHz hasn't failed me. Oh, OSX is my main operating system by the way. And if there's the need to get on Windows for a few hours to play games, I don't have problems either via bootcamp.

For low-spec laptops and computers, I highly recommended Linux Ubuntu for it is very lightweight. But, there are a lot of people who are going to have trouble with their monitors being unidentified and unable to kick up the resolution, which really sucks.

Vista (literally) sucks. It's such a memory hog, unlike Win7 which is finally a step ahead towards the future.
