THIS YEAR'S CHRISTMAS PARTY ===== We saw fans who came in droves from different places: Australia, UK, USA, Kuwait and from various provinces like Bacolod, Ilocos, Nueva Ecija etc. If I were to compare last year's Xmas party with this year, its obviously na mas madaming participants this year, mas organized yung event at mas nakikita mo si Sarah really really close. Nung last year, kasi mas subdued yung venue sa Popstar Salon, most of the time, nandoon sa loob si Sarah at off limits dun yung mga ibang fans.
For me, mas satisfied talaga ako on how things turned out with this year's Xmas Party compared with the last one. Sobrang nag-enjoy ako sa mga prods ng Popsters esp. yung ala Kanto Boys, at yung duet ni SG with the girl in pink (na may boses talaga in fairness) at yung girl na may guitar (which I think is extremely talented. Of course, nag-enjoy din naman ako sa food he he. Sosyal nga kasi Tamayo's pa ang nag-cater na usually nakikita natin sa labas ng studio ng ASAP.
The fact na nakita ko uli si Sarah, happy, healthy, in all smiles at bungisngis (na na-miss ko talaga ng BONGGANG BONGGA!) made may nearly-12 hour trip ALL WORTH-IT. Bonus na din yung narinig kong kumanta uli siya kahit isang 2 songs lang at may ka-duet. It was really an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
Special THANKS po kay Ate Mhel who was always very approachable and accomodating. Thanks to God that someone like her became our fanclub's Pres. Sobrang bait talaga niya. And to TITA CRISTY also na napaka-understanding at mapagbigay kasi she really made a way para mapa-sign ko kay SG yung 2 albums na dinala ko. THANK YOU PO TALAGA!
If there's one thing I've actually learned on the event itself, it would be about MOMMY DIVINE. Mabait pala talaga siya in person contrary to some media reports. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her on the middle of the road (malapit sa venue), papauwi na at NAGLALAKAD mag-isa. She even approached us and said "O saan kayo uuwi? Ingat kayo ha, thank you sa pagpunta." Ang bait pala talaga niya. Its no doubt kung saan nagmana si Sarah She's really a very humble person, and I think may ibang fans na naka-recognize sa kanya at balak sundan siya (siguro, to catch a glimpse of SG's house) pero thank GOD and someone along the way stopped them from following Mommy D. Even I myself, didn't even dare to follow her because I alway's value Sarah's privacy and we fans must learn to respect that.
I also remember midway during the program. Someone approached SG on her table with a bulk of CD's/mags na ipapa-autograph but the woman in Red dress (i think it's Viva's Maam Chai tama po ba?) begged to spare Sarah kasi masakit ang ulo niya even before the program started. I felt really sympathetic towards SG at gusto ko sanag pagsabihan yung fan na iyon (na sobrang kulit talaga). Pero Sarah was so mabait she even told her mother "Okay lang ako Mommy, kaya ko ito, nag-eenjoy naman ako" in response to Mommy D "Anak, okay ka lang ha, hindi na sumasakit yang ano mo."
Buti na lang at hindi masyadong halatang masakit ang ulo ni SG. I also noticed midway around the photographing session, Sarah covered her mouth with one hand to her hiccup, pero if you were a kin observer mapapansin mo talaga.
Siguro, we fans, should also learn that Sarah is just like us, a normal person with physiologic needs. Siguro nga kahit pagod talaga siya, she didn't even bother kasi mahal niya po tayong lahat. That's why she's doing and giving everything for us. We can do something in return not just by watching her shows and buying her albums but more importantly, we should also emulate her humbleness and simplicity, doing something na hindi/never masisira yung name niya and also PRAYING for her health and safety, and a better career next year.
GOOD LUCK SARAH! We will always be here for you no matter what happens (kahit makalimutan mo pa ang lyrics ng sarili mong mga songs he he)!!!
Nowelle, thanks sa compliment mo. Anyway, after the party medyo maraming nagpasign nung YCG at Music and Me since wala kasi itong malltour. At least nakita ni SARAH ang mga fans niya na bumili nung 2 album kaya mabilis itong nag platinum.
Regarding sa success ng party, mas bigger kasi ang venue mas maganda kasi pwedeng magkaroon talaga ng mga presentation unlike sa salon na games lang ang pwede mong magawa. OMG, hindi ko alam na meron siyang dinaramdam that time at very professional talaga BEBE natin. She knows that her presence is a big factor para mapasaya niya tayong lahat at ganun din naman tayo kitang-kita na nag-enjoy siya ng bonggang-bongga. Baka nga nawala yung sakit ng ulo o baka yung bagong bunot nyang ngipin dahil sa sobrang saya nung party.
Tama ka Nowelle, napaka-humble ni Mam Divine coz imagine ilang kanto rin ang layo ng clubhouse sa house nila and yet naglakad lang pala siyang mag-isa. Pwede naman siyang magpasundo sa driver nila pero hindi niya ginawa. At least nalaman ngayon ng lahat na abot-kamay lang talaga silang mag-ina.
thanks nowelle for sharing! oo nga, actually i heard manong caterer(yung nagdadala kay sarah ng food that night), nung nagdala kasi sya ng main course na, rice with kompletos recados talaga, bumalik sya sa buffet table, masakit pa daw ngipin ni sarah, kaya siguro more on soup and soft food lang sya that night, pero nung nag-speech na sya and even sang for us, di mo mahahalata, tawa pa ng tawa. nakakatuwang isipin talaga na kahit may nararamdaman sya, go pa rin siya sa pagpapasaya sa atin. haaay! iba ka talaga, SARAH GERONIMO! bow!

In this way, hindi magRARAMBULAN at hindi na nila i BOTHER si SARAH while she's enjoying the program.....kung baga, nasa LINE-UP na.
-- because we are a big group now, dapat talaga super organized talaga and meron na talagang crowd-control.....
-- overall ---- masarap un food, masayan un games, magaganda un PROD Numbers ( bitin pa na eh....hehe.... -- kaya ung mga may talents dyan.....magpractice na!, mas masaya nga if lhat ng loveteam groups -- mag pERFORM!!, siguro mas lalung NAKAKALOKAH un....harhar...)
