Sarah Geronimo, who will be performing in Dubai on Friday at the Dubai Aviation Club with Mark Bautista, perfectly lived up to her sweet image during an exclusive chat with tabloid! ahead of the gig.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Widely regarded as an obedient daughter and a role model for young people, Geronimo's genuine talent and humility — and her commitment to her wholesome image — make her a breath of fresh air.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Don't expect any drastic image changes, for example — daring movie scenes or photos are a "big no no", she says, and some questions were a little too sensitive for her, but kudos to her for being straightforward with her answers.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Do you have any albums coming out?[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Last May, my album One Heart was released. It's my eighth studio album and consists of 15 tracks — both original songs and covers of OPM classics. It also includes the theme song Fallin', from my movie Catch Me, I'm in Love with Gerald Anderson.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Do you have any movie(s) in the works? What can we expect from your latest movie? Will there be any intimate scenes with your leading man?[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]I'm currently shooting a movie with Gerald under Star Cinema. It's not a sequel to our first movie. The film will be full of surprises; it's a wholesome film and [fans] should really watch out for it.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]What about taking on more daring roles or scenes in your films?[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]I will not do any daring roles in any of my movies. It's not me, it will be totally the opposite of who I am.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Can you comment on speculation that you will transfer to a rival network?[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]That's not totally true. I will sign another contract with ABS-CBN and I'm happy working with ABS.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Can you clarify the rumours that your camp has requested ABS-CBN to give Angeline Quinto less exposure than you? (Quinto, the first grand winner of Star Power: Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar, a reality contest on ABS-CBN, is dubbed the "Pop Superstar".)[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Definitely not true, and it's also common sense. ABS-CBN will not allow that.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Angeline is a home-grown talent and I respect whatever exposure or treatment they are giving her.[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]Aside from your albums, concerts, television shows and movies, what's going on in your world?[/font]

[font=tahoma,geneva,sans-serif]I'm back in my studies; I've enrolled in an online programme at University of the Philippines. I'm pursuing a General Studies degree.[/font]

Sarah Geronimo excited to perform for UAE fans

Princess of Pop Sarah Geronimo promises another exciting show at Dubai Aviation Club

• Sarah Geronimo and Mark Bautista during a press conferenc at Asiana Hotel in Dubai on Thursday. Geronimo playfully told reporters that Bautista is her crush.

Dubai: The Philippines Princess of Pop Sarah Geronimo is back in the UAE to regale her fans with a concert on Friday at the Dubai Aviation Club.

Before a charmed audience at a press conference at the Boracay Club on Thursday, Geronimo told the media that performing in Dubai is something that she looks forward to all the time.

"I love the audience here. We are going to have another exciting show which will be a combination of two of my latest concerts in Manila. And Mark and I will be singing songs from our new album which I hope our fans here in the UAE will like", she said, glowing in a shimmering gold top.

Geronimo is performing with Mark Bautista, an equally popular Filipino singing sensation. When asked about their great onstage chemistry, normally chaste Geronimo playfully remarked," Kasi crush ko siya [Because he's my crush]" with a grin on her face.

It will be Geronimo and Bautista's third performance in Dubai. They admit they never get the time to visit Dubai's famous landmarks and tourism spots, but when given the chance to come back just as tourists.

"I''d love to go to a desert safari, and maybe go shopping in Dubai Mall, for shoes", said the Geronimo, who is known to keep a closet full of expensive shoes, including her favourite 3-inch Fendi pair, which she wore for the conference. Bautista, on the other hand, loves the Atlantis Hotel and would like to go back.

A day prior to the show, Sarah invited her fans to the concert and promised another exhilarating show with Bautista. "I love performing for my fans here, they're a great audience"; she added.
