Thank you all again for sharing these wonderful pics and the videos/full episodes. What would I do without you guys alt=':29sgGoRosa:' ]
Really made my day again with an extra portion SGL!
Thanks again outrigger for the offcam vids & thanks FULGOR/owners for the beautiful pixs.
Sarah Geronimo’s pre-Valentine back-to-back-to-back Dates!

Last night’s Sarah G. Live episode was an unusual one because segments were not in the usual order that it follows in the past episodes. Though there was a reordering of the segments, the show as a whole was once again an amazing one!
This is the first episode in one year of Sarah G. Live that had only three guest celebrities and two guest co-hosts. The best parts of the show were those of Coco Martin’s interview and duet with Sarah Geronimo.
For this episode, Sarah Geronimo had three dates with three guys who have already marked their names in the industry – Mr. Piolo Pascual, Sir Jose Mari Chan and Mr. Coco Martin.
What opened the show last night was the segment that used to be the closing prod. The Statement Song, where Sarah Geronimo sings songs that speak of the contents of her heart. She did Regine Velasquez’s “Araw-Gabi” and before she started, she said the following:
“Mga Kapamilya, February na … Buwan na nman po na punong-puno ng feb-ibig. Kaya naman as the love month officially starts, wish ko ang pag-ibig na nag-uumapaw para sa inyo pong pamilya at sa inyong mga kaibigan, at sa inyong one and only love, love, love. Mapa-araw man o gabi.”
Since it’s the love month, Sarah Geronimo sang this for everyone and for their loved ones. The song is basically just talking about a deep and true kind of love that will stand the test of time. Sarah Geronimo has always been vocal about her undying love for her family and fans, as she is being loved as much in return.
After that statement song, followed Sarah’s first date for that night, Piolo Pascual. He took the center stage and grooved to Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” where he showed some moves he’s never shown in any other shows. And lastly, Sarah joined him on stage and they both sang Michael Buble’s “Save The Last Dance For Me,” which was also cool! In the part of the song where there were only instrumentals, Sarah danced to Piolo like no one’s watching. That was just so sexy.
Then, it was Sarah’s second date, Jose Mari Chan that joined her on stage. They did “A Love To Last A Lifetime” and “Refrain” by Jose Mari Chan, himself. It was a really light prod that they both gave the audience a soothing feeling of ease and calmness through their soft voices.
And Sarah’s last date, was Coco Martin. For the first part, Sarah interviewed Coco but it appeared more like an exchange of questions and answers from two people who missed each other’s company. The whole part of the segment were pure sparks and “kilig.” The favorites were the parts when Coco asked Sarah if there were any of his leading men that did not fall in love with her. A question that Sarah tried to avoid at first but Coco insisted that she answers it. As unassuming and humble as she always is, Sarah said that she does not know. Well, I can’t put into words the sweetness of how she said that but it was the typical way of how Sarah would answer such a question. The kind of answer that’s raw, fair, humble and unassuming. Then Coco admitted that he did have a thing for Sarah but it did not blossom because she wanted him for her elder sister, Shine, who Coco admitted to have a huge crush on. Also, it was fun when they played about Coco’s type of girls. There were three choices – the Party Girl, the Astig Girl and the shy Girl. For all three, Sarah did a role-play. The entirety of that part was just a laugh-trip. It was also in that part where Coco called Sarah “baby.”
After the show took a quick break, Sarah and Coco were already prepared for their duet. Coco sang live, with Sarah, the songs of Rivermaya, “Himala” and “Kisapmata”! Towards the end of the prod, while Coco was trying to end the prod with a good impression, he tried too hard and lost his notes. Then Sarah stopped singing, approached him, and gave him a friendly hug. But that friendly hug did give the audience shivers, the good kind of shivers or “kilig” as we call it. Their tandem was just so missed for it’s been a while since their first and only project together, 1Dol. From last night, it was evident that they really have the spark and after the segments, many wished that the rumored movie of the two gets pursued for it will surely be a big hit in cinemas.
Before the last segment, it was announced by last night’s guest co-hosts Robi Domingo and Matteo Guidicelli that next week, there is going to be a big revelation from the Sarah G. Live team and Sarah Geronimo, herself. Fans have different theories as to what that revelation could be but that is yet to be confirmed next Sunday on the show.
Lastly, of course, is her signature sing-and-dance number. Sarah Geronimo hit on David Guetta’s “When Love Takes Over” where she was so amazing but it appeared like she was just playing with all those complicated dance steps and the high notes she hit effortlessly. A great way, indeed, to end the show!
