Sarah is an angel and through her, I find my inspiration; because of that, I am who I am today.

Since the day that our founder, kuya Dan, brought forth this website for all supporters of Sarah back in 2003, it has grown immensely. From the first few members, now to just about surpassing 15,000 members, we have a wonderful community of people who share their love for Sarah in many ways. Many thanks to every member of this site for your continued support, and to Sarah Geronimo herself, for being the reason we are all here. May SG.COM continue to grow in support of Sarah forever and more birthdays to come! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/5.jpg) (IMG: style_emoticons/default/yay.gif)

For the month of August 2009, we had the following statistics between the forum, homepage, and gallery: Average Daily Visitors: 7,024 Average Daily Hits: 848,696 Average Daily Bandwidth: 8,749,777 kilobytes (8.34 gigabytes) Total Visitors: 217,769 Total Hits: 26,309,597 (26 MILLION+) Total Bandwidth: 271,243,098 kilobytes (258.67 gigabytes) ^ we have broken the 250 gigabyte barrier for the first time! Highest Visitors in a Single Day: 8,783 (August 5) Highest Hits in a Single Day: 1,025,243 (August 9) Highest Bandwidth in a Single Day: 10,873,117 kilobytes (10.36 gigabytes - August 9) For reference, visitors refers to UNIQUE users (per IP address) who visit the website. If you visit the site from home early in the morning, then visit again from home at night, you are still counted as just 1 visitor. However, if you visit at home, then visit from work, that's counted as separate visits. Hits are the number of times a page is accessed. Refreshing a page over and over again will cause hits to go up. However, it will take a lot of hits to reach 26 million per month. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Bandwidth is exactly what you would think - it's the amount of data passing through the site, both incoming and outgoing. Bandwidth is measured in bytes and prefixes depending on the order of magnitude (kilobyte = 1024 bytes, megabyte = 1,048,576 bytes, gigabyte = 1,073,741,824 bytes). This month has set the highest ever bandwidth usage for a single month, at over 258 gigabytes. Last month (July), had only 232 gigabytes. Congrats SG.COM, and keep on growing! Anyone out there using Snow Leopard besides me? It's the latest and greatest operating system for Macs, dubbed OS X 10.6. All of the system's core processes now run 64-bit, but it has compatibility to run 32-bit programs as well. One major change is that only Intel-based Macs are supported; no more PowerPC support in this version. Some things seem to be broken which relied on 32-bit procedures, but updates should be coming soon to fix those. Oh, and I applaud Apple for selling the full version of Snow Leopard at only $29. Microsoft, are you watching? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I'm not exactly eager to buy Windows 7 Ultimate at a $400 price point. (No, I'm not being an Apple fan boy either (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleazy.gif) )
