Pistahang Cebuana reunites The Champions!
Announcement - Posted by admin
Whenever Sarah Geronimo, Rachelle Ann Go, Mark Bautista and Erik Santos come together onstage, expect power-packed performances that only these singing champions can belt out.
Their concert in 2004, dubbed as “Night of the Champions”, was one of the most successful events in concert history. Viva Concerts, the show’s producer, even had to stage a repeat concert because of public clamor.
Undoubtedly, these four individuals are the best singers of their generation. Dubbed as ‘The Champions’, Sarah, Rachelle Ann, Erik and Mark are all products of singing competitions.
Last August 28, The Champions were once again reunited through Cebuana Lhuillier’s 25th anniversary concert, ‘Pistahang Cebuana’. Plus, a newcomer in the OPM industry joined them in the show. Anja Aguilar, grand winner of Little Big Star Season 2, is Viva’s latest discovery.
Sarah, being the main attraction of the event, performed a couple of songs ranging from OPM classics to today’s hit songs. The Popstar Princess also performed alongside Gerald Anderson.
Before closing the event, The Champions rendered a song and dance production number of Pinoy novelty songs such as Sasakyan Kita, Pamela, Bulaklak, Jumbo Hotdog and Otso-Otso.
It was definitely a nostalgic event with thousands of fans missing these singers performing together onstage. With the success of Pistahang Cebuana, the next question is – Will there be a “reunion concert” for the singing champs soon?
Cooking is another passion of Sarah G.

The Popstar Princess is a self-confessed ‘home buddy’. She’d rather stay at home and spend time with her family than spend hours on malls or clubs which women her age prefer. If Sarah Geronimo isn’t performing onstage, she would always find things to do at home.
This includes making herself busy at the kitchen… to cook her favorite dishes. Since her days are loaded with work schedules, Sarah hasn’t given much time to her passion in culinary.
However, she’s very much open to the idea of taking up cooking classes someday. If given the time, cooking is really on top of her bucket list. “Pero sa ngayon wala pa pero someday eh gusto ko ding karerin ang pagluluto.”
Sarah, who just turned 24 years old last July, feels that knowledge on cooking, baking, etc., is something she needs at her age. “Gusto ko [matuto magluto] since tumatanda na din naman ako at nage-endorse ako ng pagkain at ng mga gamit sa pagluluto.”
Actually, the Geronimo family is very much into cooking. The family owns a restaurant in Mindanao Avenue called as Imo’s Pancit Malabon. The menu are personally prepared and cooked by Mommy Divine. On the other hand, Sarah’s sister, Sunshine, bakes cookies, cupcakes, cakes and other pastries.
In her recent TV commercial, Sarah fortunately got free cooking lessons from Chef Rosebud Benitez, host of the cooking show Quickfire. The Popstar Princess and the celebrity chef collaborated for an endorsement. Seeing these two Pinay beauties onscreen is a delight. Moreover, their recipes and food masterpieces are definitely tasty and delicious. I bet millions of Sarah fans would love to see the Popstar Princess cooking, baking and experimenting different recipes.
Sa tingin n’yo ba, magiging isang magaling na chef si Sarah?
What’s the best hairstyle for Sarah G?

Sarah Geronimo’s simplicity ranges from her attitude, outlook in life, dreams and fashion style. Her being simple brings out the natural and genuine beauty she possesses. She doesn’t wear heavy make-up or dress-up fancy clothes. Nevertheless, she still stands out from the rest of the crowd.
The Popstar Princess is a proof to the saying ‘simplicity is beauty’. She may not be flaunting too much skin and may not be wearing chic clothes, but Sarah is still considered as one of today’s most fashionable women.
A lot would agree that hair is the crowning glory of women. And Sarah believes the same thing. “Hindi bag o sapatos ang magcocomplete ng isang outfit. Para sa akin ang magandang buhok ay ang key to any great outfit. Yun yung sekreto ko.”
Actually, she pampers her hair most of the time. “Siyempre bilang performer, napaka-importante how my hair looks, but with my hectic schedule hindi ako makapunta ng salon or maka pag-patreatment kaya I really need the best hair products available,” she said in one of her interviews.
Few years ago, Sarah performed at the Araneta stage with her long, black, straight hair. “First time ko mag-concert na nakalugay lang yung hair ko. I loved the feeling! Parang very natural yung movement when I was singing and dancing.” She did it again this year for her 24/SG concert.
Every whip and flip of her hair showed off a stunning and sexy Sarah G. From the 13-year-old contestant in Star for a Night, Sarah has transformed into a drop-dead gorgeous woman.
Sarah G. is beautiful in every hairstyle she experiments on. But what do you think is the best hairstyle for Sarah?
